2022 NEW MIZUNO PUTTERS

In the recent Mizuno Pro 221/223/225 Irons & ST-G 220 Driver reveal on the Mizuno YouTube Channel, Vosh hinted to some upcoming releases/changes to the Mizuno M-Craft putter line.... Does anyone have any information on these???

Hard to believe they can improve upon the M-Craft line. I'm gaming the M-Craft IV in Blue Ion and it's absolutely fantastic.

I'm the Mizuno reveal, I asked vosh in the comments if they're considering doing a low-torque (think, Edel, Axis, LAB) putters... He said "that's interesting, I think Mizuno fans are in for a treat", but couldn't comment more than that

Thats what I'm thinking but guess we wont know for certain until we see pics. Can't imagine them reusing the name and changing the shapes though

I'm just not sure how much they would be able to add tech while keeping the same shape. The weights in the toe and heel take up a lot of room, and extending the MOI via adding mass at the back would change the shape (not to mention, this was already done with the IV and VI). The only thing I can think of is some kind of multi-material construction, maybe with 1025 in the face and tungsten in the back, but I feel like that wouldn't be the right move.

It’s definitely a heavier weight head from what I’ve heard. I imagine they dive into the spider category of putters just based off the fact that it’s kind of the only thing they don’t offer

There is a flow neck high toe blade (Scotty California series type putter), another Anser 2 style in both righty and lefty, and a double bend mallet coming in the new putters.  They are supposed to be heavy heads!

Personally... I would like to see Mizuno do what Evnroll did to their putter line... This was to add interchangeable neck options to switch the same head (if you prefer that shape) into a slant neck/plumbers neck/mid-bend shaft. I think this would open up so many more options of head choices to those with different strokes vs. being stuck with a certain head that fits your stroke, but that you don't like the look of...

Was thinking about getting the M-craft type 2, but might wait if something similar is in the new line.

Same here I've tried the righty IV a few times and feel like the lefty would be a good option for the collection. Why? No idea maybe a beater putter? Office putter to bring to the range to practice on the green.

Same. I want to get a ss wide slant neck blade at it seems the options are slim.

AU$699.99!!! = US$500  I don't think they'll sell many at that price.  The 2021 putters were terribly overpriced in Australia relative to US, JP, and UK markets and it looks like they've done the same this year.  This is strange, when Mizuno irons are priced favourably in AU relative to other markets. Once again it will be cheaper to import a putter than to buy it locally 😞
