I wonder if this hints at supply disruptions since I would have thought that these would also be front and center at the PGA Show (Jan 25-28) this year, but that would be basically the same time as the West Coast swing (assuming that starts with The AmEx Jan 20-23, and then the Farmers Jan 26-29) and not out in Hawaii.

 

Or maybe they've just realized that a couple months of photos on here doesn't really do that much when they can basically launch at the same time on tour and at the show.

I mean I’d still give the T22s a try. I’ve had the T20s for a couple seasons and they’re fantastic, the T22s look a touch more refined to me.  That said I’ll end up with a low bounce K 60* SM9 when they’re available.

That's if they will be available as a Wedgeworks Grind this time around. I hope it is but I also hope they add more Wedgeworks Grinds with the SM9 that aren't just limited releases.

 

I wonder with the popularity of the T grind, will it make it back into the starting line up?

I can’t imagine the low bounce k doesn’t come back. It’s been a big seller in the SM7 and SM8.

Random cleaning of my screen shots, I found some sm8 shots that dated beginning of December from vokeys insta from initial tour testing. I'm sure it won't be the same but one can hope.

Vokey does have a copper-ish finish that hey release with some of their limited edition Wedgeworks models, called brushed copper. They most recently released the SM8 Wedgeworks A Grind this year in that finish. Hopefully they release it in more options for the SM9.

Yeah I was referring to retail. With multiple grinds and lofts with that finish. At regular price. But with the limited supplies I doubt we'll ever see that.

Yeah that and the slate blue are great. It would be awesome if either of those were done in full standard offering.

I’m in the minority I guess but I really liked the gold nickel back with the sm5s

Finish options are fine but how about not making raw cost $40 more. I really wish they wouldn’t charge more for doing less work on a wedge.

Wedgeworks does give you $35 in "free" options when you order raw. Regular Stamping, ferrule choice, and shaft band are all free with raw.

SM8 pics were leaked online in mind November of 2019.  Hoping to see something soon.

Buddy of mine in Titleist staff got the email to order his today.  Went to the site and it had a SM8 photo in place.

No T grind listed was tough to see, also same finishes as Sm8 except raw wasn’t listed

This is confirmed. I just ordered mine through the Titleist staff web portal and all of the preview pics were the SM8's.  ETA for delivery of staff orders is early 2022.  We'll all just have to wait to see what they look like.

Pretty pathetic imo how this is taken place. no talk, no pictures, but you can pre order with sm8 offerings.

I've been told that SM9 is "evolution not revolution".  The SM8 lineup was awesome, and there would only be small tweaks to improve it.  I have ordered my wedges for 2022 and was told that the grind and finish options would remain the same as what was available in the SM8.  I've requested raw, and was told that there may be additional lead time to get that finish.
