Gen4 with AD DI 7 opened 1 1/2 to 13.5. Its a bomber! I'll open this as well. If I can get nearly same distance with a little more forgiveness, me will be very happy! 😂

Damnit man..it comes std at 16.

 

I've been secretly begging for someone to make a 16 degree std 3w so I can loft down to open the face but still maintain 15+ degrees of loft. 

 

Looks like this will be on my try list this winter.

If that head doesn't go left like the gen4 did then it sets up to be my perfect fairway. I've been eyeing a tsi2 16.5 lowered to 15.75. This one would give me the open face and 15 loft I really want. Slapping the pxg adapter on my gamer shaft this week to test the proto 3w more. Will have to demo the gen4 xf.

 

The design and specs of this excite me just as much as the OG sim driver did. And that bad boy is still in the bag.

Haha. Same here. Unfortunately, I have a UW on the way. Now I have a dilemma.

Shows hosel adjustment is only 1/2 inch either way and not 1 1/2  inches like other PXG fairway woods?

Most likely a typo as PXG adapters are all +- 1.5* ....the new hybrid is stated correctly.

It's a typo. I called them about that earlier today. It uses the same adapter as the other fairways. It will get updated...probably tonight.

Hope someone can found out about the CC’s. 
 

Says head mass is 215 grams which is the same as my Proto 3 wood. What does that really mean? Same weight, but does not define size correct?

Recently tried Gen 4  Five fairway but all I could think is, "Man, this thing is small compared to my G425." Just had a PXG fitting last Thursday and am glad I waited for a larger fairway. That is of course my assumption that this is a larger head.

I'll take comparison photos when mine arrives. Their verbiage indicates face is larger & taller, but we shall see.

Chatted with the fitter. The gen4 xf is draw biased. I couldn't hit the gen4 anything other than left so this concerns me. Saving grace could be the 16 std loft. Allows for more loft retention while opening the face. I'll demo it soon.

Tell her to fix their tracking.  Every and I mean every package from. FedEx that I have received for at least the last 6 months has missed their delivery date.  Most move to Potentially Delayed once they miss the delivery date while others get updated with some other reason.
