It looks like the temps will be in the low 80's Thursday and Friday, but drop into the low 70's Saturday and Sunday. She better get at it Thursday and Friday before it gets too cold for her.

If it was a KLPGA win...the KLPGA pros SOAK the winner with water that they wrap the winner in a large KLPGA branded towel....they even shower the winner with FAKE flower petals too.

 

 

I wish Ha Na "The HULK" Jang would return to the LPGA...I miss her dancing and prancing after a win.

That was fun. Yup, Lydia being Lydia. What I wouldn't give to have her bunker game. Heck, I'd take any part of her game. Lol. She wasn't perfect today, but with her short game she doesn't need to be apparently. Congrats. 

 

Solid round by Danielle. A few mistakes, but she seems to be in a good place mentally. Maybe losing to her lil sister takes away the sting. 

 

I was almost certain Charley was going to steal this thing. Putts just didn't drop down the stretch. 

 

Yuka is going to be a factor for some time. 

 

Good week for Brooke, but her putting yips started to rear their ugly head again. 

 

Great start to her LPGA career for Hye Jin.

I was there in 2012 when Lydia won the CN CWO as a 15 year old Am.

Lydia was playing with SNaP & Ji Ya Shin and Danielle and Jess Korda came running into the green to also soak Lydia with water.

 

Here's something funny....a volunteer told me she saw a clubhouse employee yelling at Jess, Kang and Lydia because they were chasing each other in the dining room...lol.

Lol. That was not attention seeking. I remember Ollie trying to talk her out of trying to carry a fairway bunker. She busted a drive over the bunker, and politely let him know what she thought of his advice. 🙃

Na Rin is a solid player, and looked great at Q Series, but Hye Jin has played a lot of rounds on the LPGA, and seems to be quite comfortable out there.

Who is the guy with a the Hana cap?....maybe a Hana road manager for the Hana LPGA pros.

I saw a Hanwha road manager at H-Mart with the Hanwha stable of LPGA pro in 2015.

The 2022 rookie class is DEEP....I suspect at least 5 rookies will be battling it out the ENTIRE season.

It's her 17th win, and a non-major. She also won last year. I thought the subdued reaction was appropriate. 

 

Win a major, or the first time after a long drought, then sure, let the champagne flow.
