The month of March is moving to slowly this year

I never like to wish time away, but sometimes the best thing about winter is how good it feels when it's over.  But supposed to be in the 40s this week and most of the snow has melted, so we'll be out laying some sod over it.

After a brutal week of Feb cold weather, March is around the corner, and to celebrate my new Rogue Pro A wedge arrives Monday!!

We are getting 10-20 cm over the next two days, more sub seasonal cold and more snow for next week. Spring and golf will return, it always does.

I'm getting a dose of what having a golf season feels like (usually golf year round here in Queensland). We had record-breaking rainfall in November and it rained enough in summer to maintain wet slop conditions and now we've had floods.

Snow isn't the problem in Tennessee, rain!! It is nasty nearly every where. This is why DST really makes my day as the weather kicks up a notch next week, and the extra hour helps as well.

Well here it is and 3 inches of snow on the ground!! That's okay as Thursday looks great with nice temps coming.

I’m also looking forward to March ending because our snowbirds go home in April and our courses will be less crowded.

 

Winter is when people come from Canada and northern US to get away from the cold and play golf.

First outing of the season, first day of spring. Went off at 530 got 13 holes in, hit the ball pretty good surprisingly. Course was decent considering the snow just melted off of it, and there hasn't been any maintenance done since last fall haha greens were a bit slow and lumpy of course, and no roll out on the drives.

April tomorrow. Preferred lies. Adios to the hideous plastic mats we have been using since November. Greens starting to grow but been sprayed so a tad slow. However, down to two layers and ball is flying further.
