I’d be willing to bet he wears them tournament days (If he plays). Looks like he needs something (maybe stability) thee as t he can’t currently find in the Nike shoe department.

Nike should be embarrassed. Imagine Jordan showing up to play for the Wizards wearing some Adidas because they couldn't make a shoe to fit his needs. Goes to show you how lazy and inept they are in what used to be the golf division.

Very odd. He wore his Nike’s both days of the PNC. I don’t know why but it’s makes me sad to not see Tiger in nike shoes. Weird.

Do you recall back in 99 when Tiger broke out a TM R500 series driver for the final round in an event in Germany. I could be off on the year and event but he was basically  telling Nike to get their **** together. May be another wake up call. Lord knows they need it.

Nike has to be scrambling right now.  Like others have said, another swing and a miss for their golf division.

Yes, I do.  He played the R510 TP

for a round.  Nike is to worried about the next Lebrons🤦

They haven’t come out with a new TW shoe in years. Now it’s Jordan golf shoes for the future.

I’m not a podiatrist, but I have to think that the higher heel and additional stability of the FJ Premiers have to be better for his ankle since he lost quite a bit of mobility post car accident and surgery. The current TW shoes have a much lower and flatter sole that may put more stress on his ankle.

This was years back, but I had to good fortune of playing a round of golf with him. I asked him about having trouble finding a Nike driver he liked and if he was forced to play one. He said it was in his contract that he can use anything he wants.

You would think that Nike would have seen the opportunity to build an ortho correct shoe for a rehabbing icon. How PC and virtuous that would have been for a company that does nothing but preen. They blew it.

I bet if he plays in FJ during the tourney he wears black pants each day and tries to hide it the best he can with the all black shoes.  I know Nike already issued a statement but bet he doesn’t make it too obvious.

That's the problem. They've take running shoe design, cobbled together sole designs from 10 year old shoes and add spikes. Precisely why Tiger is wearing FJ's.

This is true, they don’t make golf shoes anymore. They make running and basketball shoes with nubs on the bottom.
