I have not got my 1k black yet. I have the Tensi Orange xflex right now. I kinda like the way that works.

I had the 1k black in stiff flex. I went with a Ventus Red (non TR) in X flex and it's MUCH smoother.

Wow. Like a poster above, my PGASS order of the tSi 5 wood with a GD UB was delivered as a TSR 5 wood. A $550 club for $300. Granted I’ve spent a lot with PGASS, I will continue to now. Not many would honor that.

Also, I didn’t think I’d like the 1K black as well but it’s working for now in a 13.5 fairway used exclusively off the tee.

Same...little too boardy and just felt harsh for my swing as I'm not the "typical WRX'r" with 120mph swing speed ha!

 

Ventus Red TR 7S overall feels better and gives me the little higher flight I was looking for.

In my initial testing the Black 1k felt softer than my current White AV Raw (the 2022 version).  Having been a Tensei Orange Pro user for 3 years previously, the black 1k felt softer toward the tip where the orange feel softer up in the hands.  Looking at Tensei profiles, it does have higher torque numbers.

what kind of launch numbers you getting? got a ventus red for the first time to put in my 16.5 degree, wondering if it may produce too much launch.

Wowww, I thought about buying tsi everything because of this “deal,” had them in a cart and then decided not to bother since I assumed the order would just get cancelled. I’m super happy for y’all, but bummed at the same time lol

I received my tsi3 18 with red Velocore 7x a few days ago. I didn’t receive the tsr club head. But the head cover is tsr . Lol

The tsr3...wow. little sleeper is the 2+. Gonna put an adapter on my speeder evo2 and test again. Don't care for the 1k black at all.

You are currently in the Rogue LS 3w correct?  How did the TSR3 stack up?

Yeah, rogue st ls 15, ventus black. 

 

On ballspeed, tsr3 was slightly faster with a bad shaft. I didn't care for the 1k black and couldn't quite get delivery right with it. But the couple times I did, it was 1.5 mph faster than rogue ls. I didn't pay a lot of attention to dispersion since the shaft was just no bueno.

 

But the look of it...

 

I'll report back in a week or so when I'm able to hit them with my speeder.

Man I have the Ventus Red coming in a week or so, now I gotta wait to see what happens. Set up for disappointment lol. Would be funky if the GD UBs got actual TSr and the Ventus people just get a trick.

I didn't get along with the shape of the Rogue LS.  I am a self diagnosed fairway wood head case.  The TSi3 was perfection to my eye and I should have gone that direction from the start.  I snagged a head that should be delivered in the next few days.  But, the plan for this winter is to see what the TSR3, R2, or even the 2+ can do against it.  It's purely a tee club for me.  So, the TSR2+ is very appealing.  And it looks like they refined the shape a little bit on the 2 version.  Once I have my shaft of choice tipped and ready to go, I hope to borrow a demo head or two if possible and do some deep diving into performance.

The tsr3 just looks so pretty. It had that perfect pear shape. Looks like the TM driver guys designed it. 

 

The tsr2+ looks really good. It's not as deep as I thought it would be. I was seeing 2500-3200 spin on 8-9 launch from a bad fit shaft. I definitely plan to test it again too.

Or they just ran out of heads and decided it was just better to send the TSr then worry about returns. Especially since Titleist is doing the builds and ships from then. Crazy since it was really TWO errors- first the shaft being listed with no upcharge then whatever happened that led to getting the TSr

On order for me!  9* and I asked for it to be hot melted to 200g which is where my Stealth plus sits already.  It seems a bit flatter and ball speeds were extremely similar.  I haven't done head to head yet.  But, just going off of what I have seen in the past, the TSR3 seems to be a little higher spin.  But, that was with the Tensei Black which I do not care for.  No feel of where the club head was at.  The TSR4 and 2 were both very high spin for me which was odd to see, especially the 4.

I have no issues with my stealth+. But I play ts2 hybrid. And if I end up going into tsr3 fwy then I may just have to let my ocd roll and go titleist full-on at the top of the bag...lol. 

 

I tried the TSi3 3w last year and it was really good but the flight was too flat. They appear to have changed something in tsr3 3w that I like...

The TSR2 7w is REALLY fun. Flies like a 9iron, I love it.

Ironically, it's the stock tensei in a regular flex haha, just bought iff the shelf and it works. 🤷🏻‍♂️But I have a Tour AD HD coming for it. Will report back.
