and oh yeah..the TSR3 5 wood is a solid performer, just overshadowed slightly by the others in the lineup lol 

 

My TSR2+ arrives today.  May move the heavy weight up front again as I have my TSR4 8*set at 7.25* and with the Ventus TR Black, 6x it is still a bit higher launch than I want.

Just hit the fwys again. Tsr3 15 and 13.5 and tsr2+ again. 

 

Tsr2+ is really straight but the more I hit it the less I like it. Launches low and spins low but doesn't kick up ballspeed over the tsr3 like it should. 

 

The tsr3...I SO want to like it. It sets up so well. But the windows are just a bit off. It's just not outperforming my rogue st ls on numbers alone. It looks better. Rogue is 1-2 mph faster on best st.rikes

Got fit to tsr2 5 wood. Have the chance to save a lot of money and get a tsi2 with the same shaft, anyone noticed any difference between the two?

Got my Tsr3 8* and Tsi2+ out on the range for the first time today.  I am coming from a TSi3 8* and Tsi2 13.5.  I was fit into the new stuff and just switched out my Ventus Blues into both.  
 

Overall I am very impressed.  In my fitting, I wasn’t swinging it very good, but did notice that the new ones seemed to be much better on misses.  I saw a little ball speed jump and spin reduction also.  
 

Well today I was swinging it good and really found these things to come to life.  To me they appear to be very accurate and definitely a little bit hotter on good strikes.  I was fit on trackman but today was just an eye test, and it appeared to me that spin was very controlled and flight was very consistent.  In my limited time between the fitting and this one session, it appears to me that they are just a little better performing than the prior generation, and to my eye a little better looking and feeling.  
 

Overall it seems to be small steps forward on what were already great clubs.  It was a no brainer for me to upgrade and I bet I’ll play these until the next generation comes out.

I’m on the hunt for the right shaft in my 2+. The 1K Black is very good off the tee but doesn’t work for me out of the fairway and probably too low launch off the tee amid I’m honest. Ventus Red TR on the way.

The 2+ is a huge winner.  I was transitioning from a 13.5 so the loft wasn’t a big deal for me, but that club is amazing.

To me it looks to have a little less bulge and roll.  I found the STZ to have an open toe at setup.

I might look at the MRC xlink blue TX which is no upcharge.  Any thoughts from others on this shaft for the 2+?

In my opinion, the DI feels very much like the UB.  I have both and when putting them head to head I prefer the DI right now.  Both have a lot of great feel and l can feel it load.

For what it’s worth, I can’t hit small lofted drivers off the deck as good as I can the R2+. It’s fairly impressive the versatility it has off the tee and off the ground. I would totally agree with you if that wasn’t the case.

Just got my TSR2 15*. I have no idea what people are looking at that think it looks closed at address. Literally no idea. I can only make it look closed if I really manipulate it shut. If anything, the topline towards the toe sweeps open. Maybe it is just my height, ball position and left-eye dominance. 😜

For those who have hit them, what are your opinions of the R3 driver and R3 fairway vs the Callaway ST LS driver and fairway vs the Stealth+ driver and fairway?  Any input will be greatly appreciated.  I was able to demo the R3 for about 5 balls before becoming injured.

R3 fwy vs rogue st ls - very similar in launch and spin. Tsr3 launches just a bit lower

 

Tsr3 fwy vs stealth+ - tsr3 spin is higher, rather significantly for me. Stealth+ was sub 2500 spin for me. Tsr3 is around the 3000 range.

can anyone fitted into the black 1k driver shaft give a shaft rec for a tsr3 fairway wood?  I didn't really have time at my fitting to hit it much but the 3 head is definitely the one i would get.  I dont think the 1k black was that great in the fairway.  

 

I liked the ad IZ and the DI but i noticed on titelists site that there are quite a few no uncharge shafts available besides the standard 4, particularly from mitsubishi, project x and aldila but almost all of the manufacturers had a few options.  Hoping to not drop so much money on the fairway

 

aggressive swing SS 105-110.  I got ball speeds on the tsr3 driver avg 164.  usually swing 3 wood in the low 100s.  probably would want mid 70's weight

maybe the AV blue or white 75?

Put a high launch shaft in the TSR2+ and raise the loft.  We tried the Velocore Red in one and got decent results (16 year old son can reach 250 yards with it).

Got to try the TSR3 driver yesterday. My current gamer is the SIM2. I didn't think there would be anything longer than my SIM2. I was completely blown away. I got to 167-169 MPH ball speed a number of times... and I am 52 years old. I have not seen those type of numbers ever! I was 15-20 yards longer than my SIM2. Not sure how much the Tensei Black 1K had to do with it. My SIM2 has an S Flex Ventus Black.

 

In true WRX fashion I placed an order immediately.... with different specs 🙂

 

I am a low ball hitter. Was launching the 10* D3 at 6.5* in the A4 (+1.5* loft) setting. Ordered the 11* and went with the 70g 1K rather than the 60g (I tend to favor heavier shafts)

I'd check out the AV Raw Blue 75, really solid shaft that will work off the tee and the deck. If you're hitting 3 wood off the tee primarily, the AV Raw White will have a hair more feel than the 1k Black (which feels like a board to me) but you may struggle to launch it.
