What's crazy is w 15 grams up front & a smaller less spin designed head how low spin will this Stealth 2v2 be???  We might be talking SLDR Low....Loft Up might be back....

Hey, could always just add a bunch of weight to the back of the head haha.  I know I should be terrified of the thought of putting something like that in play.  But... something like a 10.5 head lofted up just a touch for some high launching low spinning bombs sounds pretty bad a**.

Just booked a spot at the TaylorMade Fit Day at my local fitter for Jan 19th, so hopefully I’ll get to test out the Stealth 2 line and the new P770’s!

 

Very interested in both and have a feeling my wallet will be a little lighter after that fitting! 😎😁

My Stealth Plus 8* face cracked a couple days before Christmas.  I submitted a warranty claim and Taylormade said estimated Delivery Date is January 18th.  Do you think there's any chance I get a stealth 2? I only say this because all retailers including Taylormade's website do not have 8* heads available for purchase. I know it's pretty much a long shot, but keeping my fingers crossed....

Seeing the 15g weight in the Stealth 2 makes me wonder if I should try the heavier after-market weight in my OG Stealth. Has anyone switched from the stock 10g to the 15g weight? Did you notice a difference?

I haven’t but I’m assuming they were able to move weight around in the Stealth2 to allow for the heavier 15g weight. I’m not sure you’d get the same results with OG Stealth.

The crown looks better with the glossy finish. That matt finish on the first Stealth was terrible.

I switched to the 15g weight & dropped my Spin Rate fairly significantly without the Head feeling way heavier.  I kept my back weight at the 4g stock.

I didn’t switch to a 15 but a 12g and extended to 46”. I also switched into a Ventus TR Black and it gives me a lot more feel but I’ve always been drawn to heavier swing weights lol

Did you switch to 12g for swing weight purposes due to the longer shaft? I'm not looking to change my driver shaft, so mainly wondering if a heavier sliding weight would further accentuate the draw/fade effect. I'll have to see what TM says about the reason for offering the heavier 15g weight in Stealth2...likely due to weight freed up from the carbon sole.
