Love the navy Tarlows!!  Definitely post a picture when they arrive.

And this has nothing to do with your color scheme choices, but I don't like the Wilcox in any color combination.  Just not a fan of that shoe.  Love the drink logo though, nice touch!

How good is FJ with their warranties on shoes?  Website says 90 days for quality and workmanship.  I got a pair of white Tarlow back at the end of November and the sole on the left shoe is coming apart.  I plan on emailing them about it, but I’m curious about other people’s experiences.

I really don’t wear them very often, so that’s the most frustrating part. I’m usually playing and practicing in my Packards.

I have the same ones but hasn't done that yet. Kinda sad 😞.

FJ really needs to make dark gray or black the default option for the midsole on all their shoes. IMO the cream works fine with only all white, and even then it still isn't as good as dark gray or black.

I was bummed when I noticed the separation because they’d only seen the course a couple of times, and a little bit of range time. At least FJ replaced them for me. The new Premiere Spiked shoes feel great. Not as much break in is needed with them.

Just used these for the 1st time today. They're super comfortable and have a lot of cushion compared to my 2 pairs of Tarlows (still comfy, but a lot more rigid like a dress shoe) and needed 0 break in.

I noticed the same thing as far as comfort goes with the Fields compared to the Tarlow. I had the spikeless version first and got the spiked version last week as a replacement for my Tarlows that started to separate. Out the box the spikes were comfortable and weren’t going to required much break-in time.

Anybody else had problems with leaking on the Packard? I had two pairs that have leakage at the seam. Got them from third party so doubt they would give warranty without proof of purchase

Can contact them and ask, I sent in a pair with no proof of purchase and they did a warranty replacement.

Any longer term feedback on the spike field?

do they fit the same as the packards?

I'd say they do?

I have the spiked Fields and Packards, and those are the two I rotate between for most rounds. I love the look of the Wilcox the most, but the Fields are just so comfortable. My only complaint is that they seem to chew through the laces rather quickly. I've had them since they came out and have already had to swap laces on each foot at least once. They just seem to wear right where they loop through the eyelets.

Any feedback on sizing compared to other shoes?

For reference, I wear 12 in Adidas, Nike, Olukai, but wear 11 in the Hyperflex BOA. Curious if I should go 11 in the Spiked Fields or 11.5.

I'm an 11 in most Nike runners and Cole Hann dress shoes, and a 10.5 in all the Premieres. There is certainly a little more room in the Fields (both spiked and non-spiked) compared to other models, but not enough to justify moving to a different size.

Is there a good insert that y'all have found for rounds you walk?  I replaced the stock with the Sof Sole Airr Orthotic in my Packard and Field, and over an entire round of walking, my heels really hurt.  I never had an issue with older Tour 360 models while walking.  I like the shoes otherwise, but the heel thing is getting frustrating.

Saw this suggested in a NLU short vid about their foot joy fitting.

About how the V shaped/closed lacing (ie of the packards) has less room than the open/blusher lacing of the fields. I only own packards but could use some more toe room…

I have both and noticed this and never realized it until having both. I much prefer the Fields lacing. I think it looks and feels better.

Man I don’t want to buy another pair but this is tempting…

I bought and returned several different sizes of the packards because I couldn’t get the right fit.
I wear 11.5 in most running shoes, Nike golf shoes, my cuater ringers; 11 usually in adidas

footjoy have always run big for me

10.5 packards were too tight in the toe box. 10.5 wide didn’t fit my heel right and 11 was long but not really more roomy in the toe box

10.5 in the spiked field are perfect. Super stable, comfortable and the right fit in the fore foot

That's why I ditched the Premier line early last year, they're awesome on the range or simulator but out on the course. Your options are crushed toes or cut up heel unless your foot fits perfectly.

I do miss that sole and tread stability.

I'm ashamed of myself.  I never even noticed the Field models have the blucher lacing.

The fields are pretty awesome and way better than the packards for my foot.
I do still love my cuater ringers too

Yeah my Fields lasted 2 rounds and some simulator sessions before they separated. Replaced them with some Packards but after playing 54 holes in 2 days (I did break them in a bit) I lost feeling in my big toe for 3 months. So no more of that, maybe just simulator use.

But yeah I'm in on my Cuater Ringers as well and Legends too once I figure out ankle rub.

Well that's not making it easier.... i've broken in my packards (10W) so they are not bad. But they're not excellent.
