Just ordered a pair of the new Packard's in the White/Black combo, hope they fit exactly like my Field's minus the break in time stretching them out. But I'm glad to have a spiked shoe again.

Yes! Ive been wanting this. My current premiers are still in fantastic condition and have a ton of life left, but I''l probably add this into the rotation or retire my Packards to range time. They should have a spiked version for all premiers.

 

I really hope they keep the Field spiked version around as a standard model for MANY years to come. I will buy them as long as they are around.

When I first saw tour players get these with spikes, I absolutely refused to get the spikeless version. I would hound FJ to release the spiked version when they posted about them on social media, and I would always see other people saying the same thing. Glad they finally listened to us.

The Wilcox in all white looks and feels great, but as others have said the fit is odd.

 

I’m an 11 in Nike, tried the 11 in the Footjoy Wilcox and it was too long and too narrow. Ordered a 10.5 wide and it was still too long, but width was better. Trying a 10 wide to see if that works. It’s a tough fit to get right for sure.

a few weeks back I spoke to someone at FJ and they told me a month or so. Hopefully we see them added here in may.

Thanks. Do you happen to know if there's a specific time of month or anything like that where stuff typically gets added? I've been holding onto a FJ gift card since last fall and am trying to hold out for MyJoy Wilcox, but if they're not going to add them I'll just go ahead and use it on the standard ones. Not sure when or how to know whether to keep holding out though. :)

Just got a pair of the Packard's in white with black accents and I think these are roomier than the Field's honestly, maybe even faster break in for me if I need a break in at all which I normally do. Once I get an insole in them and try them out I'll try and break them in a bit.

If anyone was curious, 10W was the winner…a bit tight but should break in nicely…so 11 regular in some other brands (I also am an 11 in True) came out to a 10 wide in the new Wilcox for me. Obviously YMMV but I never have worn wides before this. Great great shoe though

I’m the same except I do often wear W when available. 11 in true. 10.5 in most brands. Dress shoes are 9.5 to 10EEE. 
 

I tried 9.5XW and 10W and 10.5XW and 10.5W and went with 10W. 
 

the heel was too loose in 10XW.

Recently picked up a pair of Wilcox in white and love them. I already had the Field spikeless but it only took two slips on a tee box for me to decide to just go spiked versions only. I'll keep my Fields but only use them for casual 9 hole rounds or practicing. I'm wanting to get the Tarlow in white and then a second pair in black. They're so nice looking.

Uh...anyone know if FJ will warranty these even if I bought them new on ebay? 

 

 

These just got broken in and now this and it will only get worse with how I swing/shift. 

 

No knock on FJ I just destroy shoes it seems.

This is the reason why I don’t purchase FJ shoes anymore.  Same thing happened to me on multiple pairs.

I can see this being an issue for how I turn at the finish. Their other ones with the more athletic build may be better for me. 

 

I may email FJ and ask, they are comfortable.

I was able to return to my proshop.  They gave me a credit and I went with another brand. FJs are not made the same way anymore which is stinks.

Sadly only one of the brands that makes a proper wide fit shoe that's stable. I came from more athletic shoes but may have to go back if I'm destroying $300 Canadian shoes. 

 

I'd love like a pair of Fiddler shoes but don't know the last cut. Maybe next time I'm in Italy get a custom pair made.

Doesn’t matter where you got them from. That’s defective and they will replace them. Just call their customer service and they will are care of you.

Sad but true. The shoes these new models replaced (Dry Joys Tour) were practically indestructible.

Yep, the old Dry Joys were great and were so durable.  Hopefully FJ will go back to that design someday.

I hate to say it, but I just think it’s where shoe manufacturers are going these days. They are made to last a year or so then just fall apart. I miss the old FJ days when their shoes were so well made and lasted for years. I was fortunate to go to the Brockton factory many times. Seeing the craftsmanship, quality, and pride they had in their product reinforced why you bought them.

They completely dropped the ball with the last shape and sizing when they introduced the Premier line. They are 1/2 size too big, almost one full width too narrow in the toe box and one full width too wide in the heel. FJ knows this so maybe they are trying to fix it, but I agree having the same product line with a different fit is not very smart.
