What’s the issue with the shoes tongue?

The right tongue constantly moves to right side of the shoe and have to straighten out every few holes. It’s not that big of a deal but can be annoying at times. A lot of my friends that have premieres have the same issue. There isn’t much chatter about it on here, though.

But they are by far my favorite shoe

Lets hope the quality issues are resolved. Which I doubt.

Both pairs I own have had the sole separate and leak after maybe half a season? Warrantied both times but still. For a premium shoe this should not happen.

So much so that the local Golf Towns near me have stopped carrying them.

Any idea if they will be offering the Premiere Series - Field in a spiked option?

Only spikeless now but Ive seen multiple players with spiked outsole.

Release date info?

I'd love to get the white/brick colorway Fields but as long as they are spikeless it ain't happening. But I honestly doubt at this point they will. Would be nice if it was at least an option in MyJoys.

I love my Premieres and will definitely be buying these.  Wingtips are my thing.  All of my work/dress shoes are wingtips.

FJ could kill it if they would expand the myjoy program and allow you to pick your upper style (Field, Tarlow, Packard) sole color, spiked or spikeless sole, and boa. Also would be a good idea to add an XXW since the Premiers run narrow.

They offer most but not all of those options for the Packard if you choose "start customizing from scratch".  Fewer options for the Tarlow and no options for the Field as far as I can tell.

Hopefully they will add the Field model as an option soon.

I'm a huge Footjoy shoe fan, and have worn nothing else for more than 20 years.  9.5W in Dryjoy Tour or Icon.  Slam them on and walk 18 in comfort.  Problem I've been having, though, is durability.  I bought a few older pairs, NOS, off eBay, and learned my lesson because the plastic materials in the sole deteriorate with age.  I just had a pair of the older style Icons fall apart, sole ripped off, right about the time the original spikes were worn through.  Now I'm wearing some Icon Blacks, and the sole is starting to come apart on those already after less than a dozen rounds.  The pieces that came off are just cosmetic, but still.  NOT HAPPY.  The Footjoy website says shoes have a 90 day warranty.  Are you F'n kidding me?  90 days?

I saw these Premiere jobbies and they look like my kind of shoes.  I'm not the fence about Footjoy, though.  They have become a throw away show company it seems.

I agree. Was a huge Dryjoy/GX/Tour guy for almost 30 years. They lasted forever and had great support. It seems that the quality of materials in the soles has went downhill in the past couple of years on the models they tried to replace Dryjoys Tour with. They must not have learned if it’s not broken don’t fix it… I wonder how many pair Cantlay has stashed?
