CPO has ROSE GOLD 2019 Toulon Garage H8 (slant neck) Madison model putters for $200 after 20% off (I believe) right now. They have a bunch in stock but they are not listed on the website.

 

These may be left over tour models but not sure as they have quite a few with different shaft options.

I've defended them over this issue in the past and still feel like the program works well for me most of the time. But wow, trade and return credits are sooooo slow lately. 

 

From a business perspective it would seem like staffing up to process the loading down would be beneficial. Most of the clubs sitting unboxed are gradually declining in fair market value while they wait to be added to the site.

Agreed.  And, look, this isn't something I'd ever complaint about.  BUT they are sitting on thousands/tens of thousands of dollars that aren't theirs during this time.  Makes you think!

Even if they had a rolling $10M in trade-in inventory that they were holding for an extra month (that's probably 50-100k clubs), they are probably only looking at $50k in interest per month they could earn even at today's 5% short term rates.  I bet these numbers are lower by an order of magnitude though, but maybe they get 50-100k trade-ins in the 45-60 day turn-around time.

 

I doubt anyone at Callaway would approve a strategy slowing of trade-in processing for that little money.  As was mentioned earlier, it would probably be a better ROI to actually get the clubs posted for sale sooner. 

 

But whether that is worth the extra expense of staffing up to process returns faster is questionable.  I would imagine that they are keeping an eye on trade-in volume and not seeing it drop because of the delays, so maybe no strong need to staff up to reduce the backlog.  

 

You have alternatives and can speak with your feet by walking to eBay or selling on here.

Yes - they must be mis-marked 2017/18 models. The tweet I posted in the original post was from 2017 so I guess theyre from the same run of heads. They also have the Toulon logo on the back and not the ODYSSEY branding so def not a 2019.

 

But...where else can you get a rose gold slant neck fully milled putter for $200.

Haven’t hit any putts yet, hope to today. I actually prefer the Toulon logo and non-full mill…so best of everything!

Oh, definitely still an amazing deal. Was just curious since you expected it to be a full face milling. In my drooling gaze I somehow missed it was a slant neck which makes me want it even more.

 

Any idea how many they might have available?

That Toulon Madison is gorgeous!  I shouldnt even get one since I'm trying out the mallet route, but I'm very tempted to call and inquire about one.

 

Does it have a regular steel shaft or is it a strokelab?
