I’ve tried many store bought rubs. All have been just a bit too salty for mine and my GFs tastes. I’d say we are quite a bit more sensitive to salt than most.

no she still has to think every pitch and every possession matters. 

 

then you spend the middle of the game talkin smack on wrx.

 

or if you’re at the game you go inside in the 4th inning and sit down for some lobster tail and sliced sirloin. little side of summer veggies or maybe there’s a salad station. couple three sliders as a warmup. wash it all down with an ice cold stella. hit the head and get back to the seats for the 7th.

Yeah, if I’m gonna miss some of a game because I gotta eat, it’s the middle. But to me (just my opinion) if a run is scored during that time, it definitely matters! Haha 

 

*Im not good at math and wouldn’t even know where to even begin to prove this using math! So I can definitely be wrong! 😜

... There is little doubt you can tune in to the 4th qt or even later for most games and get a good start on the competition as far as winning or losing. Especially the NBA where one team or another can be up by 20 points or more then basically tied to start the 4th. But I think that is for bettors not sports fans. I want to see Booker own the competition when he is impossible to stop. I also want to see Ayton play soft in the post. Or Doncic just lower his shoulder and bang into the defense and get "fouled" and when a defended "chests up" doing the same Doncic still gets the call. 

... I also don't wanna miss Fields running for 67 yds in the 2nd or 3rd quarter. Or throwing a pick after holding the ball for 4.8 seconds. Or Mahomes throwing an impossible pass 40yds downfield.  I think it is safe to say 99% of the time we don't remember any scores of games later in the season and certainly the next year but we always remember great plays.

i think baseball is a little different (i’d assume golf, too) because there’s no clock. 

 

a big 3r homer in the 3rd that knocks a team’s ace out could sound the death knell for that game. lots of game left but you play different from behind when you’re in your bullpen early. 

 

but in hoops? a 10 point lead in the second quarter doesn’t mean much at all.

probably true and your theory lines up well with the sports i have real interest in (baseball, golf, formula 1) and the sports i really only have betting interest in (pro and college hoops and football, nhl, soccer).

i’m also a nerd, so quant studies done on sports fascinate me. 

 

like the study done by cliff asness and aaron brown that determined the best time for a hockey team to pull their goalie when they’re down by 1 is with 11 minutes left.

I remember watching an Avs game a few years ago and Bednar pulled the goalie with like 4 minutes left and the announcers are like what is he doing, is he trying to get fired, well they scored, and went onto win the game.  After the game Bednar basically stats say pull him earlier than even I did.
