Who should be benched? Vu and Kupcho definitely should sit. Corpus and Lexi need a break after playing all 3 rounds.

If you are talking about Lexi, yes, at 2-1 she has played well. Vu on the other hand, disappointed at 0-2. Corpuz at 2-0-1 is great.

No one on Team USA is going all five matches.  Kupcho, Zhang, Yin, and Knight only play(ed) twice the first two days, all others 3x.  Pretty balanced.

Anything can happen but Europe probably needs to at least split the afternoon matches to have a reasonable chance.  They (Europe) had a chance to pull even, but ended up splitting the two matches that were tied late (of course, they could have lost both as well).

Total class from the Swedes, and proving why there gonna win big in the future. Thought Kang and Lee were lucky to hold onto them but made it a good match in the end. Interesting afternoon, I expect Charley and hedwall to go well, raced light and hungry for it.  Leona and Linn asked to play all 5 is asking alot.

Observations:
 

Any match play event is fun to watch and even more fun to play. 👍🏻

Everything about the setting, gallery, atmosphere seems great except the Macarena….😂 and 🤢 at once. 
 

Thanks Judy Rankin for covering this event. Simply the best to ever do it.

Rekon your lucky in America, our coverage over here on sky is much to be desired. I'm still shocked how bad the opening ceremony was, and how badly organized it seemed to be. I expect alot slicker coverage next week which is a shame.

It's tough to compare to the Ryder Cup.

 

If we look at the Solheim Cup Organziers, I'm sure Rolex lends the name but doen't contribute much.  The rest of the organizations, especially the main owner PING, aren't rich at all.

It's hard to watch Nelly Korda putts from 5-10 ft this year; she missed like eight out of ten almost every tournament.

Strange things about these exhibition Cups, players free swing and play well above their heads. Europe has a couple of players ranked #121 and #122 in the women's world rankings, both are playing like #1 and #2,🙂

 

Leona Maguire is #18 with two wins on the LPGA but is playing like the second coming of Anika S........🤣

 

~PS expect more of the same from the men's Ryder cup.
