I didn’t say  they had nothing about the Solheim Cup I said they had nothing about Europe retaining and it took 2 hours for them to post something even when major outlets everywhere had it up almost the minute it happened.

2 hours is pretty impressive for LPGA.com, sometimes the live scoring is a half hour, or a few holes behind.

Yes, sooo many commercials…….seemed like a show of commercials with breaks for occasional golf coverage.  Early morning coverage was frustrating to watch.  Congratulations to Team Europe.

Don't knock hybrids.. I think it's the best thing next to Titanium Drivers..

 

I love them.. I have 2-5 hybrids..

 

Europe deserves all the credit as USA chokes after the first morning..

All in all, I found this an enjoyable event. Not of fan of the horrible music blaring like a few others mentioned.

I was impressed by the girl who so many people put down, and didn't accept was even on the team. Her 3-1-0, was second to Megan's 3-0-1 for the US.

Thought DK, Angel, Leona, EKP,Grant,Stark played well.

Rather unimpressed by Nelly, Rose, Ally whom I think many expected more out of.

Celine and Georgia were a bit off as well.

On to the next!!

It just seems that more often than not a good Solheim player isn't always a great stroke play event winner or a factor week and week on tour. I mean does any one see Leona becoming that? I really don't see her having that in her locker. But the heart of a lion and solid under pressure? Oh yes.  Next we will be hearing Hedwall is heading for LPGA! 🚀

The Lexi hate is perplexing. Especially, since she went 3-1 this week. I'm guessing this has more to do with something off the course than anything on the course.

They need to do away with a tie finish in this format.  Why not have a playoff to decide?

Lexi's had a number of issues that probably give many people few reasons to cut her much slack.

 

As for the media, that's what being a star is; you are under scrutiny.  Possibly, Lexi also hasn't turned into what the media tried to make her be, so they have turned on her / easy target.  [Edit] The media also exists to sell articles.  Had she been Hedwalled, almost certainly it would have been called a collapse, even if to little/no fault of hers.  Is anyone lighting up Ewing?  Again, that's what being a star entails.

Yes, no other sport where a tie is a loss. 3 hole playoff with 2 players. After that sudden death.

A few observations from the outside…

 

- Megan might be the most steady golfer out there. Fun to watch.

 

- Good weekend for Lexi but that press conference was silly. Feels like she puts out this friendly persona but is a really unhappy or angry person. 
 

- Nelly got the worst possible opponent today, one of the fastest players on tour vs. the slowest. It stinks that the faster player is always the one who suffers. 

 

- Nelly pt. 2, she hasn’t looked the same in any aspect of her game since the move to TM. Now she looks like she is losing her confidence. 
 

- Overall a good event, too bad they didn’t show any prime time or delayed coverage. 
 

- The US’s big name youngsters will grow into their roles but had very disappointing weeks 

 

Last, congrats to the Euro’s well played and always good to see something won not given away or lost.

I think it's fine the way it is, but if we want to see a winner then I'd propose going through the 12-person lineup (one shot each) in the order they teed off today (multiple holes, or more precisely, 13 swings until the first person to tee of hits another shot).

Why wouldn't we want to see an outright win?  A playoff, if necessary, would make for some of the best drama in the game

The challenger had 28 chances to make a difference, they didn't do it.  Try again next time.
