Any facility that is hosting a Titleist fitting day is getting a percentage if the clubs are purchased that day , usually they offer a slight discount to encourage you to purchase immediately and not go elsewhere

That’s good to know. Might’ve changed me ordering then, but probably not, since like I said, I wanted my coach to see the spec sheet. Will keep in mind for the future.

There is no way that is correct. I guess he means it has 10g more Tungsten.

like some of you probably read from my post, I was surprised by that… and immediately thought about SW. Didn’t want to probe more about it since we were all focusing on the fitting.

what I do not know is if there’s 10g more tungsten and offset elsewhere to maintain a similar head weight.

That would likely be coming from the face slot in the 150. Chunk of metal removed from behind the face = discretionary weight added to the existing heel/toe tungsten inserts.

If the lofts are right does anyone see a problem going 4-7 t150 (1 degree weak) and 8-Pw t100 (1 degree strong). I can always tweak with a loft gapping session but that’s my initial thought. Play off a 3-4 handicap but not playing a ton right now.

Im OCD so the different sets  bothers me a little but im sure that would work. I think im going to take 5-GW in the 150, bending the 5-9 1 weak, and the PW and GW 2 weak and using my current 56 and 60. Playing ZX7s bent weak with no issues atm.

I'm off a 2-3, I went to the 6i with the T100. Just got on the monitor with the whole set for the first time - for me at my speed (90mph 7 iron) the gaps are good. The T150 may be a bit better in the 6i in the future, but need to test more (also doing lots of swing changes).

More importantly, the sound/feel moving from the T100 to T150 to T200 was actually a nice progression. Going from the standard solid piece in the 8 to what I'm guessing is the classic 7/6 irons slight increase in pop from the face plate, then the 5i with the slot and the 4i in the T200. It just got every so slightly louder but still felt super soft, and the progression was honestly quite nice.

If the T150’s mirror the T100s model from the previous generation, then the 8-PW in the T150 is  a solid piece of metal with no added face tech for launch and speed.  Meaning the only difference between the T100 and T150 in 8-PW would be the lofts, topline and blade size.  Those who have hit and heard the tech story, please correct me if I am wrong.

Lofts don't equal height on the newer clubs. The extra distance doesn't come from the loft, the are hotter off the face. The T150 actually hit higher than the T100. I wouldn't gap the 100 with the 150. I would maybe gap with the 200.

If you aren't playing a lot, go with the T150. More forgiving than the T100.

Looks like for the 5-8 irons and 9 iron, the lofts are 2* stronger and 1* stronger than the T300’s. How does the height and landing angle compare?

During my fitting I was getting about 5 more feet in height (84-88) and landing angle of 44-46.   I’ve been very happy with the stopping power on  course so far.  A very reasonable 2 to 3 yards from the ball mark on most 6-8 irons.    And hand even back up a couple with the PW.

They are the same lofts as the 300?

Wow, really? Actually found the LZ to be one of the smoother feeling shafts out there. Feel similar to Modus line to me.

Agree.  I love the LZ.  I don't find them even remotely boardy.  I have heard quite a few people say that they like the 6.0 but not the 5.5.  They're almost like different shafts.  I'm in 6.0 and have never hit the 5.5 though, so I can't comment on that.

I haven’t been fit for these but check out mr golf in Green Bay. They do outdoor fittings and they have fitting days with all the major brands.

I booked mine with a Titleist rep today -- it's Monday at Cantigny, in Chicago's western suburbs. The range there is grass so I assume it'll be on grass, rather than mats, but we'll see how they do it.

I'll share some thoughts and observations afterward. I'm a -5 AoA guy so should be able to fill you in on turf interaction in a similar location to yours.

Hey all - long time lurker, just had a Titleist fitting for the new irons today and want to share my experience.

First off, I play P7MCs (2021) 4-PW and wanted to get a bit more help/forgiveness to make the game a little easier. For some context, off-center strikes would leave me short by like 5-10+ yards. Going in to the fitting, I was expecting to have some blend of T100s and T150s.

I've done a few fittings before with Club Champion and True Spec. One thing that stood out to me about this fitting is that they have every single head in every iron number. I'm used to only being able to hit a 6 iron, so this was a very pleasant surprise. Really helps dial in the blended set being able to hit every model in every iron. I'd highly recommend booking a fitting directly with Titleist for those interested in the new T-series irons.

T100: The T100 head seemed quite small to me (and I'm used to a players iron). Feel was great. Off-center strikes weren't penalized as much as my current set.

T150: These gave me more spin and height than the T100s which I needed, so we decided on these for my scoring irons. Awesome feel. Fitter said that the heel to toe blade length is the same between the T100 and T150, but that the T150 has a wider sole and top line. Noticeably wider sole, but the top line difference was marginal to me at address. Some of the channel/tech helps lower the CG.

T200: I was expecting these to look very different at address compared to the T100/150, but found them to be pretty similar. Made it very comfortable in terms of blending. I flushed some of these and knew they were going in the bag, at least for some longer irons. Didn't seem that clicky to me either, but take with a grain of salt as feel is personal.

T350: Only hit the 4 iron with this one. Great pop. At address, you can see some of the back of the club, and has noticeable more offset. Fitter and I were deciding between this and the T200 for the 4 iron. Decided to go with the 350 because it had better numbers, and again, trying to make the game a little easier for myself.

U505: The U505 was really big and not for me - at address, the back of the iron comes out quite a bit.

Each club was $200 USD. Ended up going with this set:

  • T350 4 iron (2o weak)
  • T200 5-6 (1o weak)
  • T150 7-PW (1o weak)

Sick setup!

I went to fitting there on 7/17. My 150s will be here tomorrow!!

Grass range with trackmans and yellow prov1 and prov1x to die in spins numbers once you are warmed up.

I just booked a fitting for the end of next week for new T series.  Interested in the 100 and 150.  I have been toying with the idea of going back to 48/53/58 wedges so the stronger lofts would make the gapping easier at the bottom of the bag.  I just find that having 4 wedges puts me in the position of being unsure which wedge to use too often (especially 56/60 around the greens).
