I’m good at missing sarcasm on the internet.  Always makes me feel clever afterwards.

Nah. Don’t feel bad. Just me amusing myself. Kind of an inside joke in a way .  Some here know how bad my putting  was last year.  So kind of a joke that I’d claim to hole them all.

I have a bad back. I can barely bend down and put my ball on a tee. I have a hard time reaching below ground level to retrieve my ball out of the hole. I need to kneel down to get my ball out of the hole. Not only did I get my pants or knee dirty I noticed I was leaving knee imprints on the green..I use these. They last about half a year before the break.

Actually.  Yes.  Practice how you play.  I do finish out on the practice green.

Just fyi.  My initial post was sarcasm 🤣.  But I really have never been a person to a scoop the ball with my putter. Usually playing something too nice to use that way .

I can't believe this is real. You're too good to scoop? Blasphemy! No putter is too nice to scoop with. That's like saying a ski is too nice to ski. I get it. You scoop.

Fetch user here, as I have a fused back making bending fully near impossible. I’ve yet to damage any cups with it. What I see damage cups are guys with Anser style putters that gouge the ball out of the hole.

Don't know why anyone would want to fish around the cup with a blade putter, that seems like it would ding and chip the finish.

I got my wife the German stainless steel version of that 10 years ago, cost me $40 back then. She doesn't play much so it still works great. Yours is a good alternative.

I like them over some other alternatives. The downside is they do break. I paid $10 for a two pack the first time around. They lasted me a season plus and I play 2-4 times a week. Finding them on Amazon for a $1 a piece I grabbed a bunch of them. I carry extras in my bag. I pair up a fair amount and if someone comments they like the idea I'll give them one.

I'll certainly agree with you both.

I play with a guy like that. He never fixes a divot or rakes a sand trap but he will be the first to complain about bumpy greens or a bad sand trap. People like that always have an excuse or play stupid when you call them out on something.

A putter that can scoop the ball up has long been a must for me.

I also have several wedges that do the same thing and a driver that doubles as a teed-up ball height adjuster.

I've gotten on my buddies to fix pitch marks and we do usually do a few each green depending where our ball is.

We also say it will appease the golf gods on future putts.

I'll tell my buddy you need to fix your ball marks. His reply is I don't hit enough greens to worry about that. I'll say I see you putting on every green so eventually you get on.

The group joke with him is the course should charge you more for destroying the course. Massive divots, pitch marks, and sand traps none of which he repairs.

How do you tolerate being on a golf course for more than 5 seconds with this clown?
