Want to give a huge shoutout to Justin Thomas. Went to the first round at Pebble and took our 5 year old for his first pro golf tournament. Walking between 17 and 18, JT tossed my son his golf ball and the pure joy that gave him was just awesome! Made a huge fan out of both of us that day for sure.

Know that is off topic, but wanted to give the young man some major props!

He is and always has been the most over rated player on tour. The fact he has won majors is shocking to be honest. Like lightning striking twice. The second one was also a farce because that Liv guys caddy lost his mind. He is so bad off the tee, used to just hole the world, this stopped and now he is being exposed. A lot like Gordon Speith. He won’t win a major again. People like ludwig in behind him way too good.

Yes. I forget his name. Was it Mito Pereira? Anyway yeah he should have given him a 7 iron and said see that water up the right? Hit it 100 yards left of it. That’s the only reason Thomas won that major.

He had a 1 shot lead over 2 players, JT and Willy Z, the 18th hole is about 490 yards and you're suggesting he should have hit 7 iron. By doing what you suggest he probably would not have been able to get on the green for 2, bringing bogey into play.

The mistake was not with the club choice but the execution and you're on a +5?

Thomas then won in a playoff against will z not because MP hit it in the water.

Mito made the worst swing of the tournament on the 72nd hole with the driver. Cost him the PGA.

JT is over rated. I thought was a 2 shot lead. Either way going right is horrendous. Only way he makes 6. Besides the point anyway. JT back doored one and he is done now his putting is average.

Jt has lost his accuracy with his irons, that's for sure. 3 times at least yesterday middle of the fairway 150 yards or less to the green  either short or missed the green completely with next shot. That's Woeful for a touring-pro. 

 

Neds a swing change, always too steep on back swing. Don't see any other pros with hands so high too far to  the left of shoulders.going back, lots of coaches see the flaw, and he can't, or his dad?
