So many players slept on this iron set. They're excellent.

And he shot a 65 with them today, is the clubhouse leader last I checked. Not too shabby.

Well There It Is Jurassic Park GIF

620CB flew under the radar for most of its life cycle not because of any inherent flaw, but rather just coming from the same stable as the 500 lb. gorilla that is AP2/T100.
Same thing with Srixon's MB; they're great but they're dealing with stiff familial competition from ZX7.

Interestingly, I was at a Titleist fitting recently for the new T series and the final choice came down between T100's and 620CB's. It seems that they're having a bit of a renaissance right now and are still being pushed by the Titleist folks. It should be noted that they flew a bit lower than T100's and I went with T100. Maybe I should have gone with the CB's as they're en vogue now.

I have played Mizuno MP20MB irons for past four seasons now.  The only iron I want to buy is the 620CB irons.

620 line was the best performing line for me... love the simple traditional design. all other brands tend to be trying modern designs in irons that look undesirable to my eye!

Is it the full bag or just a long iron?

From the images I have seen it looks throughout with the Srixon ZX as a long iron.

Yup, he put that Srixon utility iron in the bag a few weeks ago with a DG X100 shaft in it if I remember correctly.  A lot of Tour guy's like the Srixon UI's from what I gather.

Titleist has always made a great looking traditional CB iron, they are just too much club for me these days.  The last one I played was the 710 CB I think.  Bought a whole set 3-PW, went to the range and hit every iron starting with the PW.  Got to the 5 iron, and things went downhill real fast.  They looked awesome, felt great, really good, but I knew I had bitten off more than I could chew.

Exactly my experience at my Titleist fitting. Ended up going with 7-PW CBs and 4-6 in T100. I could use the height reduction. Was pretty surprised when the fitter handed me the CB to hit after baselining with my T100S.

JT has stated many times over 'as long as it says Cameron on it, i'll play it".  Well he may need to hope the patent runs out on the jailbird and Mr Copycat putter man can make him a jailbird ASAP that has Cameron stamped on it.   Otherwise, his 185th strokes gained putting is just the beginning of his problems with the swing change.

I am not hating on SCam as I wish I was such a genius in marketing and what not.  Amazing career really not inventing anything worthy of generational use.

“Mr Copycat”, “SCam”

“I am not hating on…”

Yeah, obviously not! 😂

Interesting to see after his signature blades released with Miura, he throws a set of 620CBs in play this week at the Wyndham. Photo from the Getty.

We need an "Oof!" emoji reaction.

Guess Miura didn't get an exclusivity clause from him in their development contract.

What we really need is someone who plays t100 to switch into and win with the cb’s.  Looking at you, Speith.

So...we want Jordan to be even wilder with approaches than he is now?

It'll certainly be exciting.
