Which seems to be the case

 

If you look at individual items, the hoodies for example, different colors will be sold out more than others, and different sizes sold out more than others, but it all varies from item to item. 
 

I don’t think some dude is sitting there like,

If you go on EBAY and type in Sun Day Red TIger and change it to US ONLY it drops a lot of what is available.  

 

Still a a lot of listings on Ebay but a lot less for sure.  Wondering if this is one of those "scam" aspect we all know that happens on Ebay with knock offs / rush on something new from across the sea? 

 

Have not tried one but playing a club event a few weeks back someone was wearing an SDR shirt.  It was Grey colored.  I asked what they thought and his reply was  "pretty decent".  So not sure what that meant? 

 

Pretty sure he said it was a PQ?   I would not even noticed it was a SDR shirt as there is no logo on the front or sleeve.  It was the logo on the back by the collar I noticed walking off the putting green next to him. 

 
IMHO it looked to be the quality of Jonnie O / Peter Millar / Greyson.  It appeared much better then Nike/Adidas/Puma for reference.  It did not did not look anything special to me, more like most top brand golf shirts.  It did look decent quality for note.  It "looked" well made and what one would expect materials to be or what other top brands offer.   

 

Just visual but It looked tight, it seemed liked a "fitted" golf shirt IMHO.  The reference in my mind is Peter Millar "Fitted" golf shirts.  I could be way wrong and the person just likes his shirts tight?

 

*Just spit balling based on fit (just looking) I would try before you buy though.

from a business perspective your trying to be right at the line of overpriced, not selling, and right priced. also if your a luxury brand you need a high price just to attract the target customer.

To clarify, what I was joking about really wasn't a reflection on Tiger at all. That said, regarding those who are interested in this sort of thing, well let's face it... it's appeal is that of a vanity line and not a value proposition. I'm really not judging either... if you have the money and want to buy this kind of stuff, go for it, it's your money after all. As for myself, while I am by no means what you would call well to do, I can certainly afford these type of garments if I really wanted to, I guess I just look at things differently I suppose and choose to spend my mad money elsewhere.

 

All that said, pretentiousness, as such, is what it is and I can't say I can think of it ever being justified but that is different thing all together and not the same as having a few vanity items.

Oh yeah... to be sure there are way more expensive lines out there... and yes I put it in the Millar line or even PXG for that matter.

Still remains to be seen how this does over time. Clear this first round sold out ASAP due to flippers moving everything they could to Ebay. 

 

If it has sustain I can't hate and clearly someone in his team got the price point correct, but that logo and SDR full spelling layout continues to be sweltering hot doody.

That’s incorrect. A number of the clothing items are sold out and they are not for sale on eBay. Only the ball makers and hats are. 
 

As far as the logo, it’s not even on the some of the polos at all ; )

 

Theres clearly a market for 100-150 polo shirts and higher end casual/sport attire and TWs offering a sold product, good materials, solid fit and pretty conservative design. The big attraction is obviously his brand. 

It’s a separate brand but has TMs scale for production and marketing expertise. 
 

Not many obstacles to success here ; )
