If there was going to be a golf course that would test him for 4 rounds, it would be Augusta. He walked the 4 rounds, but, 3rd day was hard. Give him exemptions to wherever as long as he can guarantee he won't WD. He's still a crowd drawer, not that the majors need him for crowd numbers. But, if his injuries keep him out of contention, it's going to get boring and sad.

He has lifetime exemption on the PGA Tour. But the USGA is a different beast. They have more strict requirements than the other 3 majors. That being said, Tiger is in a category with Bobby Jones and Jack Nicklaus as the most legendary players in USGA events. 
 

Bobby Jones - 9 USGA titles

Tiger Woods - 9 USGA titles

Jack Nicklaus - 8 USGA titles

 

Nobody else is even close. It’s hard to imagine the USGA slamming the door in Tiger’s face if he wishes to play their event, but I guess you never know. Lol

Bridgestone Golf - same at TM, barely feature him.

 

I think these are his four main sponsors, maybe somebody can correct me if he has anything else (Rolex?).  Debated as the GOAT in golf and this is all he can muster?  Rich people love getting richer so I can’t believe this is by choice.

I'd have to see if any stock options were in his contacts..... then and only then would I question his choices. After all, he is a billionaire.🙂

He remains on the Rolex commercials, and I'm pretty sure they only show those they're still paying or whose estates they're still paying. With all the people he nudged over to TM alongside him no doubt he's getting paid very, very well by them. When he had that plus Nike I doubt he worried about much more. Now that Nike's done I'm not sure he can manage another super high dollar backer. Maybe a financial advisor or something similar, but he doesn't sell real estate on his clothes and I doubt anyone other than TM & Bridgestone see him as a big enough draw in ad campaigns alone.

 

Could still have some stuff going in Asia that doesn't get shown here. They pay well enough that A-list stars come to them for shoots and Tiger still had a nice buzz in Japan not long ago. Doubt he needs the money but I'm sure he wouldn't turn a few mil down.

TMAG features Tiger plenty, when he is playing, and gave him his own line of irons (P7TW)… but it’s kind of tough to truly feature a player when they barely play golf. Hopefully Tiger can start to play a little more regularly this year.
