It appears to be some grinding on the back flange so it's not visible from address.

Interesting.  Is it that visible?  I've never held the T100 but see  you have some.

I'm still in the 2019 T100 and you can see some of the rear flange on the 4 iron.  Apparently the newer model is similar or enough is noticeable to JT transitioning from a blade 5 iron.

Yes I was going to say this too. Torch the area and reduce/eliminate the offset.

Now that his 4 iron has no offset his play is sure to drastically improve, and quickly.  Zach Johnson must be so relieved!

Man he really likes the 0-offest concept. I feel like I won't even feel comfortable addressing the ball at setup with that stick 😂

I do not envy the pressure he is under for this RC. Dude is going to have every mistake amplified.

He is definitely going to be under the biggest microscope! As a JT fan, I am hoping for a similar story to that of Adam Scott and his getting picked for the Presidents Cup in 2009. He was playing awful but got picked, played OK and then went on a run of having a great few years.

Agreed! Sam Burns was clearly best player in last Presidents cup in terms of relation to par but he went like what 0-3-2 pretty much carrying Scheffler on his back but only mustered up a draw in team play. 

 

JT is a big time money player. When pressure is at its highest he is not scared of the moment. Doesnt mean he is going to come thru but he is not going to back away from it. People saying he is a bad pick are incredulous. I would put an uncomfortable amount of my money on him rather than keegan or lucas or whoever.

That’s what I think. The heated and annealed it (you can see that color difference from heating) to soften the metal then pressed it out.
