Odyssey Ai-ONE: the real deal..?

Rolled both A.I. milled and what I like to call A.I. white hot lol even though it's not. I much prefer the non milled. I own the WHOG Rossie and a Two Ball Ten White Hot. Interested in adding a third putter just because and if so it'll def be the A.I. White Hot. Feel is very similar to the other ones I have, I don't feel the "much firmer" effect but it does feel different and in a good way. Only one I like from the November release is the Double Wide DB  because I'm SBST, excited to try the 7 DB, Jailbird mini and 2 Ball when they hit stores next month. Really want something different than my others so the A.I. 7 Broomstick is also catching my eye. Anyone else use(d) an Odyssey broomstick to give their input or is anyone else interested in this new one?

Thank you!  How do you like the feel vs WHOG?  Love mine but intrigued and like the darker head color a lot better than the WHOG Grey personally.  Just not sure about the insert tech, seems like gimmicky marketing to me and have heard the new insert feels way firmer and not as good as the WHOG.

Like I said, I’ve only got a couple of rounds and a little practice with the Ai.  I really like my WHOG but I got the Ai at 36” (+2”) long, added 20g to the head and a SS XL 2.0 grip. After the first round I was ready to give it up as a bad idea but the second round was much better including a 40+ footer for par so the experiment continues. The first round coulda been operator error…duh, ya think???
The insert of the Ai is definitely firmer so the ball comes off a little hotter.  I don’t notice the little difference in size and I also like the darker color.

the jailbird mini looks awesome.  I tried rolling the 380 but couldn't get used to the grip and likely wasn't holding it correctly.  in store and on the course, both times it felt foreign.  with the head being slightly smaller and the shaft normal size, I hope it yields the result Im hoping for...

I'd really like it if they did the Ai two ball on the 11 or 10... maybe only a matter of time.  Odyssey doing lots of good things

I have been a huge fan of the White Hot Versa 7s Putter.  I've added weight to the head and put a 50g in the grip to counterbalance it.  It's been awesome setup coming off of 20 years of various Newport 2 putters.

These new AI putters in the 7 are way too big.  I wish they would keep a similar head size to the White Hot Versa 7.. Maybe I would get use to it, but when I look down at it.. I'm not liking how big it is.

Not gonna lie - I'd be REALLY interested in a AI 380.  I know they aren't for everyone, but I tried a buddies Jailbird recently and loved it.

Is it really that much bigger?  I thought the 7S was in between the Tri-Hot and your Versa.  I'm also coming off a Newport 2 and the Ai-One 7S is ~0.75 inch shorter toe to heel.  I guess it's all relative

The above is correct about the Ti-Hot and Versa 7.  I’m waiting on the 2ball and hopefully the 7 db.  Whenever they decide to release it for us lefties. 😡

Per golf.com:

 https://golf.com/gear/putters/odyssey-ai-one-milled-putters-5-things/?amp=1

And if you’re someone who wants a longer build beyond 34 or 35 inches — think Versa Jailbird 380 — Odyssey has it covered with a “Cruiser” version of the Double Wide CH, #7 DB and Jailbird that’s specifically made at 38 inches with a 17-inch grip, 140-gram shaft and 380-gram head.

Can’t seem to find it at retail yet

I get a chuckle out of “how much money three putts cost the pros” and how it’s solved by an insert.

Um. Ok.

The cruiser line is coming out in March.

What exactly is coing out in March? Is it a 380 gram version of the Jailbird Mini DB with an extended shaft? Color me interested.

Anyone know why the Stroke Lab upcharge shaft is completely missing from Oddysey’s configurator, still? I’ve seen it on one retail site out there where you could configure a putter with one, but nowhere else. It’s a $40 upcharge, I think it’s navy blue, saw something mentioned in the November release, and until seeing Min Woo’s WITB today, haven’t noticed it anywhere.
