I got the Ai 1 and Ai double wide today again.  I prefer the larger footprint of the double wide.  Unfortunately Odyssey isn’t releasing the Ai 7 db until February.

That was my choice, too.  I ordered both the Double Wide and the Rossi mallet.  Sent the Rossi back.  Double Wide gives you the best of both worlds.

I got the Ai-One 1, custom build with longer shaft that showed up pretty quick (4 days from the Mexico plant).  Everything good so far, still getting used to the head weight and feel, but I'm putting better with each round.  No quality issues with mine that I can find.  I'd love to experiment with lighter weights but that's not an option...

Mine was assembled in Mexico, as well.  It now has the nickname of "Julio".

I meant to say I putted with those putters.  😂. I’m going to buy the Ai 7 as I like the fang shaped look but love the feel of the insert.

I had an O-Works #7 before this new Double Wide putter.  Go with the one that putts the best.

I’d like a putter with a larger footprint.  I’ve been using a Scotty Stainless Newport for like 20 years.  I’ve lost all confidence with that putter. Mocha it’s either going to be the Ai 7 DB or 5K 7 DB for me.

Has anyone tried the OG White Hit weights in the AI Ones? Appears they would be the same size and shape.

Returned mine.  Head way too heavy, could not get any feel on my putts.  Beautiful putter but not for me

I’ve got a Rossi s on order.  Will report back after I get some time on a green with it.

 

rolling it in the store, it was definitely “hotter” off the face than than me squareback 2.  
 

Once I adjusted for that I seemed to be able to lag anything 10-20 foot out within a foot of the cup pretty effortlessly.

Sorry, should have mentioned that - Ai One #1.  Previous gamer (now current again) is a Cleveland HB SOFT #4.

My friend I golf with has the same putter and he swears by it.  I did try the Ai 1 and I loved the feel.  But the footprint is too small for me. I’m going with the larger Ai 7 when it gets released.  Good luck with your choice.

Does anyone have any knowledge regarding the head/hosel shapes being released on Feb?

 

There are pics of a slant neck 2-ball on a Japanese site. I am hoping that this is going to be a US release.

 

I’ve always wanted a slant neck on the original 2-ball head.

In February, Odyssey will be releasing the #2 and Double Wide CH, both seen here.  You’ll also be able to get the Rossie DB, #7 DB, 2-Ball DB, 2-Ball CH, Jailbird Mini CH, and Jailbird Mini DB.

If you haven't hit these do yourself a favor and do so!  The AI / topography is the real deal.  Consistent distance and direction all over the face and the feel is amazing.  The plumbers neck #7 will be extremely difficult to get out of my bag.

Ordered a double wide and when using it noticed it seemed like a lot more loft than usual. Had to forward press a good amount for it to roll good. Had it checked and it was at 4 degrees of loft instead of the stock 3. Just something to keep an eye on.

This is where the rubber meets the road, IMO. All the marketing was vs. Scotty Cameron.

I bought the Ai-One 7S.  First Odyssey putter so I'm excited to give it a try on the course.
