Can still get a T.P. (David) Mills or Tad Moore handmade, unfortunately can’t get a handmade from Byron Morgan anymore 😢

Serge DeChampes @sergizmomakes some great stuff as well, and he can even put up with @MtlJeff 😂

He makes unique and exceptional brass putters. His original blade is like nothing else im aware of on the market

But putting up with me is his one true gift.....

Not really trying to argue.  But I don’t know about that.  Not too many guys make truly new shape putters.  Much less actual handmade.

in confused.  Are you saying Olsen does or doesn’t make one offs ?

I’m confused on if you think Olsens batch of hundreds of mass produced putters based of a basic tried and true design is a one off? It’s literally a cookie cutter putter. I’m not sure where the gray area is in my statement that I find it odd people would have interest in that rather than a truly one of a kind built for them putter. (Regardless of head shape)

That is my opinion and I don’t think it’s too wild of a take…

Well let’s clear it up. I’m no Olsen fan. It is a CNC xerox putter.  Which is what most makers make.  What makes your statement odd is that you don’t name who will build this one off as an example.  There have been a couple names above that can.  But your statement leads one to believe you may say Tyson lamb or similar.  Which won’t get you any more one off or handmade than this guy.

Off day putting for Scheffler again, see if he throws this putter out too

I’d say it doesn’t last past this week.  He’s searching. And he’s looking at the same exact putter over and over. Maybe changing length or grip.  But same thing on the head.  He will wake up eventually and go a new route.  Needs to visit the LAB truck , or go talk to someone about launch conditions and roll.  He doesn’t look to me like he ever trusts his speed. That means you don’t trust line.  And that’s 90 % of the whole thing.  I see him adding loft at impact. Which is a common thing for a tall guy.  I suffered from it too. He probably needs a 36-37 inch putter in order to keep it down through impact. But that gets so unruly it’s hard to make a consistent stroke  with.  Proper fit Armlock or a broomstick would fix this . And I know as I type it that it’s sacrilegious.  Im just telling you im a similar build and suffered exactly as I see him suffering.  Any putt longer than 10 feet is hit off the bottom.  Speed is the key. Just watch him.

Mackmade can and will make the coolest thing you can think of among the others you’ve named and others yet. My putter is a 1 of 1 created by a member here, you won’t find one just like it. I think lamb is a joke lol. Yes an anser is an anser is an anser.

My point was why would anyone prefer these bulk putters over one where the builder made it with your specs, dreams, ideas etc in mind the entire time? One that is truly YOUR putter.  I find that odd. And to me a one off doesn’t relate to JUST head shape so maybe we disagree on that.

A 375g anser head with a sight dot, no line, twisted flow neck, “southpaw72 birdie machine” engraved on the bottom in my font of choice, my initials on the bumper, copper insert, my lie/loft, pvd finish, multi color paint fill, a palm tree in the cavity etc would make that a one off putter to me. *disclaimer I have no interest in that design lol.

This is a silly argument because if I don’t like it I could just keep scrolling but something’s make me scratch my head and I type. This is wrx after all.

Missing the amount of putts he did inside ten feet… I’m a hack and I’d be pissed if I missed as many as he did last weekend.  Archer not the arrow here… don’t matter who’s names on his putter.  Guy has issues

I didn’t think he rolled the Proto all that bad. I didn’t get to see a lot with it but it wasn’t so bad. I just think he needs something to give him greater consistency.

Can't imagine this stays in the bag much longer. Holy this is hard to watch today.

He's tried how many putters now?

TaylorMade even made him his own Proto Spider.

I don't even watch much golf - rather be playing - but every time I watch him lately he's got a different putter and still can't putt with it.

It's him.

Get the man a jailbird.

He needs something! That may not be a bad idea, because if Scottie was an above average putter, they could cancel future PGA events on account of him being virtually guaranteed to win them all

Lets be real - there's no reason why Scottie shouldn't be using a putter from a brand with real R&D and engineers.  No doubt the craftsmanship of an Olson is probably top notch, but he's an artist first.  I find it hard to believe that an Olson putter is objectively better than SC or Taylormade, and I'd surprised if Scottie's camp isn't in his ear about this.  At some point (hopefully soon) he needs to get back to SC or find a Taylormade that gets him back on track.

Paralysis by analysis…Jack, Crenshaw, Fax, Stricker not super technical putters…SS looks real mechanical and uncomfortable to me…Olson coming up with all these ideas, metals, dots, lines, naked, different lengths, grips, etc…MY GAWD…putting is hard and there’s always some luck involved, guys get hot, guys go cold, surface is always ever changing…SS has gone down the technical route and is lost…Jordan gets technical and off on his natural ability from time to time, but his best days have always been non tech

I’m surprised by his facial expressions, and that he’s surprised when he misses a putt, which is often….

Right now he’s a bad putter.  Needs to go crazy with some different designs, those he’s using aren’t bad putters, it’s the archer.
Take a week off, get 50 different putters, experiment.
He’s not doing Logan Olsen any favours.
