If Minsol Kim wins, I wouldn't be surprised if she plays well in the majors this year like Hye Jin did as an amateur. A lot of runner ups including at this event, and winning team silver at Asian Games and Simone Cup.  She also finished top 5 in 2 KLPGA events, one of which was a major.

Shot -2 today. Should be in our live broadcast tomorrow evening here. Were getting the last 3 hours live each day. It overlaps the VIc Open's last hour of live coverage but the feature group including Ina Yoon +4 had finished and most of the favorites were already finished having teed off in the morning wave.

Looks like the relationship between Georgia Hall and Ryann O’Toole is over.

Where's the tea? e.g. is this a guess, based on Ryan's IG reel?

The National Qualifier is a two-day competition held in Thailand in early January for one of Honda's invite spots, so I assume that those who are in have not already been given sponsor invites.

Notice the Thais NOT in the qualifier - Mo, Pornanong (Waen), Wichanee (Jan). These I assume get the invites because there's no way Mo and Waen are going to be kept out of Thailand (right?).

I think the results were posted on the event's Facebook page rather than the LPGA website. Trichat and Piano also failed at this hurdle.

Btw, Sim got into last year's tournament through this spot. She did quite a lot with it.

Mo, Waen, Sim, and JB have now officially been added to the Honda Field.

Oy. Tickets go on sale today for the T-Mobile Match Play event at Shadow Creek in April. Not sure if I'll be in town, but I thought I might pick up one just in case. The tickets are only available through AXS, whatever that is. In order to access your ticket, you have to download their app, and the $39 general admission ticket for Thursday slaps a $15 fee for the privilege of having the virtual ticket show up on their app. Ridiculous.

AXS and their service fees... Id used to go to concerts at the Best Buy Theater in Times Square. I would just take a 20 min subway ride and buy them at the box office instead of paying almost $40 in fees for buying 2 Tix online.

I'm on team Ryann here, I don't like how Georgia dogged out her team at the Intl Crown last year

I don't know the backstories of these gossips/relationships but I do agree with the fact that I don't like what the Hall/Hull duo did to their GB teammates at Intl Crown.  So I am on "team Ryann" bec of that, even if it's faulty "logic/causation effect" analysis😆

Well I can only fathom if she will stiff her country mates at an important event she would do the same for scheduled dinner reservations

Re Georgia, says that she and Charley should retire together:

“I think we would probably encourage each other, if one of us retired to say to the other that they should too.”

https://www.bunkered.co.uk/golf-news/georgia-hall-charley-hull-interview/#:~:text=“Our time on tour%2C it's,other that they should too.”

What sort of circus is this? Imagine JT saying that he will retire when Jordan does.

Seems some top women golfers play for other reasons than than just performance and winning. That isn't necessarily wrong, just a contrast to the top men.

Maybe these women have it right, playing for fun? Make $5-$10m having a great time - hard to fault that?

Muni He immediately came to my mind...

On the men's side, no one comes to mind... I can't imagine JDay retiring just bec Tiger retired - and that's despite family obligations (JDay 5 kids!), injuries (both!), etc

College golf has started back up. I wasn’t aware Anna Davis has enrolled at Auburn early and is playing her first event.

They have a strong team, I wonder if Charles Barkley made a sizeable donation to the NIL

My Trojans have a competitive team led by Amari + Shoemaker

Why is Lindblad still playing? LSU must be fun!

As long as you can make enough to keep your card, pay your expenses and have a little in the bank, being a tour pro can be a pretty great lifestyle.  It's definitely not for everyone, but I can see why it would be fun for many.
