60.08M is an SM9 in the pic btw. Highlights how much cleaner those were than the 10s.

Good catch on the SM9.  It appears the SM10 has a straighter leading edge and higher toe.  I’m not loving these compared to SM9 shaping.

L grind is gone. There was probably some overlap with the more popular T, especially now that it is part of the main lineup.

I noticed that immediately as well. I have been playing the L the last couple of years and have been curious about the T

I went deep into that rabbit hole recently and I think I can summarize what I learned of the T compared to the L. The T, with its extremely narrow forward bounce and more aggressive grind, has the least digging protection on square shots - it just WANTS to dig, so turf conditions must be appropriate and contact MUST be clean. Its best feature is that the leading edge does not come up at all when you open the face, and no other Vokey wedge comes close.

This would break my heart, I’ve been loving my L grind for square shots and can still open up, I’m not good enough to hit the t…

thinking about it though would it make sense to remove L? Isn’t it the second most popular grind on tour

I would expect that the special A, L, Low Bounce K grinds would still be available through Vokey Wedge Works special orders.

The tour players will still be able to get it.

 

I played the L and now the T and I think I preferred the L on square face shots, it doesn't want to dig quite as much. The T is a touch more demanding, it's odd to see it completely replace the L in one cycle after having the T as Wedgeworks only for a while.

Looks like they added that back in and no more L grind in the normal line. Kinda makes sense with the 04T grind now in the line.

IMO us mere mortals would have a hard time noticing an improvement over the 9's. There's just nowhere to go but backwards.
