Yeah they’re a little too curved in some areas for me but still pretty.

Love them! I like an iron that’s sleek but with a slightly thicker top line. The CBs have that.

Just like their putters. They are 10 outta 10 in terms of craftsmanship and manufacturing BUT the looks are always just off IMO... Putters look chunky and robotic. The irons look chunky to me as well, the blade address pic should be the CB address pic.

Forged, although I'm sure some finish milling is done.

They've obviously taken some design cues from TM. I don't think these are ending up in my bag anytime soon. I can only imagine the MSRP. 

 

But, Bettinardi does make a very high quality product. I very much love my putter.

With the wedges at $220, i would think that it'd be around similar prices for the irons.

Not my favorite shape but I bet they feel great like their putters and recent wedges. Nice to see that price is pretty competitive. I'll look forward to a second iteration at some point.

I don’t think they are made in the states one of their concierge said wedges were made in China and I assume these are too

My guess is these are coming Virage Tech like their wedges so not too big of a surprise that they look like they came from an old TM mold knowing Virage Tech has done a bunch of work for TM over the years.  They just look.... unfinished?  Probably $2k for a set of old tech is definitely not how I'd spend my money but I'm sure the Betti fanboys will be lining up for them.

Spot on.  They have some loyal collectors but these will not compete head to head

What is "old tech" for irons.  These are MB and CBs, what tech are people looking for?  Tons of threads talk about their love for older generation irons and how they are better than anything new.  Hell, Ping S55s probably get the most love on this entire site.

You are correct, perhaps "tech" is the wrong word.  My point is these are likely recycled forging dies with cheap steel coming over at $30/head.  I would have expected something milled or at least some unique workmanship from Bettinardi especially at likely a higher pricetag.

These are not made in house, just like the wedges. Forged 100%
