The shape reminds me of the SLDR mini (still the best mini in my opinion).

The Original One mini is 275cc from memory. (Which is still my favourite mini driver). 

If indeed it is 280cc, that will suit my eye better than the Taylormade 300 or Brnr minis, which were just too big imo.

 

Although id still love a 250cc model 2 wood.

Assuming you mean the podcast with Jonathan Wall. Seems according to his source at titleist that they don't plan on releasing it to retail.

This looks to be a finished product, well beyond any prototype phase.  I'd be surprised if they went that far without an eye towards retail, especially considering how well the BRNR mini has sold.

MGSpy podcast...   Brutal to listen to but every once in a while they drop some good info.

 

Really hope it does come to retail.  Even at a low volume there is money to be made from it.

@uglande Nothing like doubling down on something after one of the guys who takes these pictures for Golfwrx and posts them confirms that this wasn't hit at the API.  I love these forums sometimes for just pure entertainment.

I wasn't doubling down on anything. I just got the context wrong. I said API but I should have said Players. So what? The location of the testing was an inconsequential part of the post.

Its either going to be released very very quickly, or not at all.

How about a local rule for USGA/RA comps that the 2W is the longest club allowed. Solves the so called distance problem with no need for a different ball. The 2W conforms.

Thats why I’m leaning towards them releasing this soon, since it has the TSR logo.  If it was a prototype under a new line, it would not have any logos.

I agree with this. Why not release something now to generate additional sales prior to the next release in the fall.

I think Titlest could sell a ton of these too.  Driver replacement for some, fairway replacement for others.  This would pair so nicely with my TSR4, instant purchase for me.
