Oh for sure... .she could be the exception, but I am sure she would have glammed up a little... she has a pretty face and is quite photogenic.

Although I can totally understand the 2 young kids taking precedence...

Love the whole thing!  It's nice to see normal people in these things.  His wife looks like she's been doing a little gardening and stopped by to support her husband, no need to glam up because she's a normal person.  Love it!

It doesn’t necessarily seem right to critique him for crying and showing emotion or to critique his wife for the way she looks. Talk about his play and critique a bad putt or poor approach but personally slandering someone who obviously worked very hard to get back in the winners circle and has a close family that loves him is taking it a bit too far.

 

Bucket hat slander, fine, thats still golf, its funny, its debatable. But we don’t need to make how he’s somehow an undeserving winner or a deserving winner because of how his wife was dressed. She didn’t hit a golf ball leave her alone. I’d rather see a first time winner every week who can barely get to his last put without showing how much it means to him, than someone who is just collecting another trophy. 
 

I loved his story about switching to yellow balls because his son liked them more. I’m also keen to see how well he continues to play. Augusta will without a doubt be more challenging as a first timer, but I hope he can keep his game up and get back in coming years. Regardless making it to the masters is an incredible feat and obviously a long time goal of his as he stated in the interview.

The ghost joke did not go over my head and I was not referring to that. Just seemed like the general vibe and no intention on calling anyone out specifically. Hopefully just redirecting the dialogue towards more talk about his play and his future as we head towards the masters.

I'd rather watch the back end of the PGAT compete for their livelihood than watch Jon Rahm play for Jet Fuel or a summer house in Spain. Just me though.

The Tour has 5-10 "Peter Malnati" stories every year now and then we never hear from those guys again.  What are 2022 winners Lee Hodges, Davis Riley, Nick Hardy, and Adam Svennson up to?

Have you ever seen the total meltdown of a finally pairing?  I mean, they both totally fell off the leader board...  From 1 & 2, to T17 & T26...  I was really hopping Team Mizuno would pull through. 😒

IIRC at one time Bryson was talking about starting a charity/non profit that focused on golf for kids who couldn't afford it.  It's been a few years since I heard talk of it.

 

Ok I looked it up so I could be accurate.  Multi sports but golf is one of them.  If that's what he did with the majority of his Liv money it's awesome!

I went and walked the entire course on Tuesday (practice round) and watched a good three hours of range/short game practice as well.  This course is BRUTALLY difficult! They had it easier than normal with the greens being softer and the rough not as high as previous years.  It's truly a shame that there isn't a more important event played at this course as it is easily one of the best layouts played on tour.  Would be fun to watch the top players that are still on the PGAT fight it out here.

 

For reference, the rough was about 35-40% as high as it was two weeks before at the Arnold Palmer. If the greens were firmer and the rough was up, you could have a US Open on this course, no one would break par.
