I like the new 5.5 shape. The smooth face is an interesting change. Guessing the new milling was a bit soft for his liking.

did he add a line or some milling here? I haven't seen these irl but it doesn't look like this on the Titleist website. Looks more similar to prior years.

Definitely a line milled in the rear of the top rail. Should help with more of a “T” alignment.

Yeah but did you see when he went back to the blade for a short period a year or so ago? Didn't think it was possible for it to get any worse...seemed like it did.

And he went with a counterbalance single bend mallet quite recently I believe. Think he got about 2 tournaments out of that one so obviously a long term prospect :):) Needs to go crazy different with a broom or armlock

Holy moly, I completely forgot about him trying to use that Scotty version of Rickie's Jailbird... Hopefully he finds something soon, tournaments are more fun with JT in contention

Wonder if he has a 14 club deal that requires him to use a Titleist putter. No doubt Cameron makes a nice looking putter. At the same time, putter tech has left Titleist in the dust. It's quantifiable data that face inserts put a more consistent roll on the ball. In my mind, Titleist putters are the equivalent of only offering the 620 MB and CB and none of the T irons. I think there is room for offering a higher tech line of putters under the "Titleist" name without diluting the Scotty kool-aid.

For sure.  I'm thinking even more outside the box like a different brand.  Don't think he can do that although some Titleist players do.
