still, given Jacks play in his 30s vs Tiger halting it with his problems and injuries, it’s conceivable that Scottie be more on a Jack path to 18 or more, or at least 16.   
 

it’s just a shame that Tigers issues were there.   He would have been at 20 or more, but that’s another thread,

Switch on over to NBC during the delay, to see if Nelly Korda can win the first major of the year, and her fifth straight event.  Imagine a Scottie and Nelly pair up for an Olympics team event.  Too bad they aren't talking about bringing that until the 2028 LA Olympics.

Jack had kids at an early age. He & his wife did a hell of a job juggling their parental duties with Jack's golf career. This was also a time when the golf payouts were a joke, so there was bigger incentive to keep pushing hard with your game.

 

Scheffler is playing in a time where the 2nd place guy at the Masters got $2.1 million. Same thing in this RBC Heritage event. The money in golf right now is insane, and it would not be the least bit shocking if Scheffler takes his foot off the gas with his practice routine to be a good father. It's my belief that this has somewhat been the case for Jordan Spieth in recent years.

When I logged on and saw that play was suspended with Scottie leading by 4, my first thought was that they had decided to save time and call off the rest of the round and award the trophy early.

Scotty starting to dominate in a way not seen since the days of Tiger.   It’s crazy that this guy is winning 4/5 including the Masters and 5/5 was a couple of missed short putts away.

They can’t do anything 🤣

 

But history tells us guys can’t stay in the zone forever. 
 

However, they can run the table for a year, maybe a bit more. 
 

Unless SS is going into Jack/TW beast mode long term. Then they all finished!

 

But it’s hard to keep it goin as the pressure keeps building on itself. And he’s going to take a break after the baby, God bless.
