Yep. In my fitting email. They told me i can take video and get all the info.  But not show it or talk about it until the Embargo date is up.

I must admit that 6 years of designing the tech on the GT and making plastic sound like metal when it is hit against metal is pretty impressive and on top of that making it superior to carbon is a logical reason to hold off on retirement. Especially if they've been working that long on this tech.

Had my GT fitting yesterday and found the GT3 at 9* to be a dynamite combo, more simplistic to achieve same results again and again.  Was able to have my fitter drop in two weights into the sole to beef up overall head weight to achieve specific feel.  
 

That was the extent of the driver fitting after working through the entire offering of GT2, GT3 and GT4 to end up back at the GT3 as stated above.

 

I was most impressed with the fairway wood fitting!!  Feel like I can hit any shot with my GT2 13.5* that will be coming!!  So consistent and easy to produce same shot time and time again!!

What is your swing speed?  140mph?

I’m happy I watched it before it got taken down. We mostly all knew it would get taken down but overall seems like some good tech.

Basically the crown isn’t metal but this polymer they heat and form which is lighter (1/3 the weight) and wraps around the bottom and doesn’t require as much epoxy as the competition composite crowns. They shift that weight a bit to the toe and in the back for stability. Made me more excited to try them out. 
 

edit: tech seemed to apply to all of the fairway woods based on the video.

Had my fitting today. Was shocked at how forgiving the GT4 is with the heavy weight back. They said that set up is the forgivness of the 2 head with spin killing of the 4. And can confirm the GT2 13.5 is a weapon. Doesn’t seem like is a 2+ head

Yeah, but high strength and they did stuff to make it sound more like a metal. Not sure of any science behind it but said it’s been a work in progress for 6 years.

Exactly what is said here. The guy was touching it and it was like a plastic feeling but then dropped it on the metal case and it sounded like metal. The face also almost is the the Ai smart face from  callaway that it has different thickness around it.

As someone who plays TSR4 in the wrong loft, that is about all I need to hear, pre ordering a GT4 with a new 3/5w also, just not sure on 2/3 in fairways, play TSi3 now.

Great to hear!  I plan on having this driver replace my TSR4.  Hard to believe it can be any better though.
