Do ppl really block ppl here??? I just can’t imagine being in a place where I was so affected by anything here that I felt a need to block someone’s content. But hey, I realize that’s just me and that we are all different 😊

Me too. It's the internet for goodness sake. Random words on a computer screen. For all I know, half the people posting are actually just automated chatbots.

But I like the internet. I quit my job today because I paid the $5,000, and a Nigerian Prince is about to send me $10 million.

Nicklaus once said something about going for the middle of every green.

"The middle of the green should be your default target. In my career, I always preferred a pair of 69s than to card 65-85. It doesn't matter how talented you are. If you habitually go directly at flagsticks, hoping every round might be a scorcher, you're going to shoot way more scores at the high end of your range." (Golf Digest 2017)

This seems like a good course to aim for the middle regardless of the pin position.

Only $10M? You got screwed...should have held out. I hear that guy's uncle (the finance minister) is the guy who can really hook you up.

I actually thought of you when posting that BDP5!

I’ve trained myself to not allow the excessive noise to adversely affect my sight (a result of some SEAL training I did 😉

🤣🍻

Of course your SEAL training doesn't allow you to ignore. You just punch'em in the throat! shocked melissa mccarthy GIF

Especially since most greens are functionally far smaller than their square footage would indicate. Any ball within 3-5 yards of the edge of the putting surface on most green complexes will not stay on. Turtle shell greens are an understatement. You realistically have to play towards the middle anytime you're not in scoring position (and even sometimes when you are), or incur a ton of risk in the shot you're selecting if you miss at all

I can't help but feel like wins are weighted too heavily by the system. There's a strong chance Harman would have made it anyway, but if it wasn't for Rickie winning the rocket mortgage (or whatever random tour stop it was), I don't think there would have been any basis to take him. Now, I concede it's totally unfair to wipe a tournament he won off the board, and I'm not suggesting that, but if you're going to use a captain's pick I can't reconcile how it wouldn't have gone to Bryson or Reed. I hate Reed, but we have all seen what he has done in international competition. It's not even close between him and Fowler. Fowler is 3-7-5 all time at the RC. Reed is 7-3-2. I knew it was a big gap but I didn't know it was that big. Bryson hasn't had a ton of Ryder Cup experience so I find it harder to hold his poor record of 0-3 against him, but I still think he has FAR more upside than Fowler does.

I agree, but the PGA Tour is weighted too much towards wins. One win far outweights a bunch of top finishes.

I just felt that Reed Bryson DJ (maybe even Gooch or Kokrak), if they had a full PGA tour season then it would have been difficult to still pick Rickie, Spieth and JT.

On the real, they were talking on the SGS (I believe) about how it might be time to change his swing, can't swing like he's 24 forever. Anyone with a technical eye see that?

I'm no teaching pro, but the knock on him is that that swing just has so many moving pieces to it and it's going to be harder to repeat it over time. Not sure it needs to be overhauled or anything but it almost seems like he is always trying to be a shotmaker instead of just trying to play the same shape the majority of the time.

I live simply and humbly. The $10MM should be more than sufficient. It's the people that get greedy that wind up falling prey to scammers. 🤣

It would keep me supplied in ProV1x’s.

At least for a while, and I either don’t go to Florida, or use range balls on the water holes.

I’m interested to see how Rory will fare this afternoon.  This setup doesn’t seem to align to his strengths but I’d like to see him in contention Sunday.

I’m an admitted Rory fan, but also an acknowledged cynic.  Just what exactly are Rory’s strengths?

Long drives?  Yes.  Everything else?  Ummm, currently no.

Early in hand photos of the new GT2 models t the truck.  As soon as they show up on the range in player's bags we'll get some better from the top photos and hopefully some comparison photos against the last model.
