I take back what I said about the pairing of Kim and Yang earlier in the day. Superb performance defeating the alledged super team on paper!!

Could have been a different scoreline had Woods holed several of those close putts today. That could have been the difference maker in that match, but well done to KT and Y.E.
The difference maker is Tiger had to play against 2 people.

Tigers back has got to be killing him from packing DJ around all day
So you're saying Tiger carried DJ all the way to a loss? Uh, awesome thanks. There is no question DJ was awful in every facet of the game for the most part but I mean Tiger played his own ball right? YANG AND KIM? Come on son!

Yang has beat Tiger by himself... when Tiger was Tiger

Now he has to play him AND another World Class Golfer

2 against 1

DJ has been a waste of space. I read he contributed one hole this afternoon with TW. It was Tiger v the 2 Koreans, with DJ hitting wedges 20m short of greens.

No team has ever come from behind in singles to win.
That's an interesting stat. I don't think the international team can pull a sandusky and come from behind but I hope they at least make it interesting.

4 point lead is pretty strong. I'd really like to see some of the later matches have some meaning. Maybe the international team can come out of the gates strong and make a contest for the cup.

What a great ball striking day Tiger had, He had a makeable birdie put on almost every hole. To say that this guy is finished is absurd!

I don't normaly watch the Presidents Cup but this has been really fun to watch this year. I am a little worried that we are going to blow the lead tomorrow! I have a bad feeling about the first 5 matchups. I have to work all night tonight so I hope my stream of the match doesn't freeze on me like it usually does!!! Go USA!

Your kidding me with that reference right? Rhetorical question as I know it was meant in jest. SMH that a joke can be made about that topic.

I thought they were going to put Tiger in the anchor position! I mean hes played so WELL! ................NOT!
Fully expected Tiger near the end of the list. Put your guns out first !!!
Team U. S. should have their 5 points just after Tiger's ninth hole.
Tiger may not even need to play all that well, look for the U.S. to send
Norman's team packing pretty early !!

Who will the fanboys blame if Tiger loses his singles match? Never seen so many people in denial. The guy can't putt. The excuses and putting the blame on everyone else is getting old. Man up!

Really tough conditions yesterday. Wind, rain, and then cold. Greens were more receptive after the rain. Internationals let a couple of matches get away at the end. Could have / should have been closer.

I hope Norman gave them a good pep talk like Crenshaw did at Brookline. They're going to need a Brookline like miracle in the singles. US needs 4 points to retain the Cup and Inernationals need 8.5 to take it. Tiger and Stricker go out next to last and last, I doubt their matches will matter.

I hope the Internationals go out strong early and make a match of it, more fun to watch than a slaughter.

I agree with you but you may want some strong players near the end "Just in case", Tiger is not the man of 10 years ago or even 3 years ago. I'm pulling for him to make a comeback but the "pick" of him should have never happened.

Seems like a number of guys had issues putting out there, including Tiger's two playing partners. Declaring a guy done after burning the edges of probably two dozen putts over three days is a bit foolish IMO.

In fact, I remember a certain Philly Mick going to a long putter to help cure his woes. All golfers go through a dry spell during their career. The way I see it, at least his putts are at least scaring the holes. It's better than what was happening earlier in the year when his putts weren't even remotely close.

Earlier this year everyone was ripping him because he was working with foley and was hitting it like crap. Those same people were saying that he needed to go back to butch and would never be the same. But now he's hitting it pretty damn good. There is no way that anyone can deny that.

As for his putting. He's putting a good stroke on it, and is slightly missing his lines. Maybe he's over reading the greens. Or maybe he's struggling with to get the speed right. But it's not like he's hitting really bad putts.

Maybe explain what you're seeing that would make you think that he's playing really bad golf?
