Stopped at my favorite Portland liquor store last night, and got lucky - one bottle of Blanton's.

Been a good 7 days in collecting bourbon

I would definitely try to stop at Woodford after BT. They are only about 10-15 miles apart and youll be headed back toward Lexington. If you do, grab a bottle of the Woodford Double Double Oaked. Its only sold at the distillery in very limited quantities.

 

As for cheap, Kentucky only bourbons. Stock up on as much Heaven Hill 6 year Green Label as you can take back. Around $10 a bottle and it is really good stuff.

 

Others I would look for are: Old Fitz BiB, Old Grandad 114, and Bulleit Barrel Strength. The first two are great for the money (ie. cheap) and the Bulleit Barrel strength is a good add to a collection if you enjoy cask strength bourbon.

I have had Dram before.....unique for sure.

 

I have not had WLW but knew it was part of Antique collection so I couldn’t pass it up.

ehhh I'll put W12>OWA>WSR all IMO of course. I felt the WSR wasn't all that special to me. enjoyed the sweetness of the W12 a lot more.

My local shop had the Jefferson's Ocean Aged #15 in stock today, I couldn't really say no to taking another one home. I bought this for my wedding day a couple months ago and discovered how much I enjoy wheated bourbon.
