I believe Bridgestone developed the original proV1 and V1x................., but I stand to be corrected

The B330 tour is the absolute equal of the proV1x in terms of performance, and the most under rated tour ball out there

This is not correct. The current version Pro V1x is by far the most played Titleist ball on Tour.

I'm going to be part of test panel for a Prototype Titleist ball in a few weeks. I wonder if it's going to be this one.

Anyone else here in the DC area going to be part of it?

I think that it will be a lower spin ball.

I think that the current Pro V1X spins a little too much.

I got in through Team Titleist. They were holding it in my area so I jumped on the chance. I submitted an application and they picked me. I'll be filmed on the course and interviewed and it could end up on a commercial. I can't wait. I've got 3 straight weeks of golf outings coming up and this is the best time of year for golf in DC.

I HOPE it's a proV1x. Reg ProV spins like crazy for me. I had to indicate my current ball on the application so if it's going to be a head to head comparison, the ProV1x is the one.

I don't know if this is worth moving to DC for, though. the downsides of DC are many.

Prov 1x is the best ball I've played so far.. Convert from playing TP5. What else can they do with such a great ball....

Just from looks and feel, they seem to be ProV1x prototypes. I compared them to the ProV1x with the lines on either side of "Pro V1x", but no dots (not sure which year they are but had some in my stockpile) and they seem similar but have a much different dimple pattern. The new one has more small dimples where the old one had very few. I haven't been able to give them a good enough test yet so that's about all I can say about them. Oh, also, they're white.

I think it would be interesting to see Titleist release a pro-v1 in a softer compression core like the B330-RX/S currently is. I've made the switch from the Pro-V1 to the B330-RX and RXS and because of the buttery softness. There is nothing currently like the RX-RXS in a tour ball.
