Those irons look great (with the exception of the rainbow colour boxes...) I hope that Cobra bring them to retail, as the current Amp Cell forged irons are a bit too clunky for me.

If you look at the spec sticker above "Project X", his hybrids are PX HC1 profile in PXv paint. I wonder if this is special for Poults or it's going to be the standard paint for retail too. Pretty cool bag none-the-less. I hope he plays well this week. I've got him going far in my bracket.

The hybrids are special for Poult's. We had made him a PXv Tour 52 driver with Red to match his driver color and his logo on them. He liked the HC1 but wanted the cosmetics like his driver so we did that for him.

Any idea of the CPM's of the PXv52 once tipped 1.5"??? Still waiting to know if the PXv52 has a 7.5 version!!!!

No 7.5 in PXv, or any other Project X Wood for that matter. We haven't found too many guys that need anything stiffer. We have done a few one offs in the lab (6A9, 7A5, 8AA4) but those were for the strongest of the strong on the PGA tour.

The raw CPM of Tour 52 7.0 (5.1" clamp, 200 gram tip weight) is 265. If you tipped it 1.5" you'd get to 283. Tip deflection goes from 95 to 85mm. Hope that helps.

I just bought one of the Amp Cell Cobra hybrids with the new GD G-Series 85X and that thing is a high launching deep monster. One of the best feels I have ever had. Def worth a try if your looking for a high launching hybrid that will spin.

The ZL in red looks great too, although I hope they bring out something new sooner rather than later, as updating the colour each year isn't really a good enough reason for people to upgrade.

They (Cobra) have come out with several new drivers, but I think he plays the ZLE because the AMP and AMP Cell just don't produce anywhere near the results of the Encore. I agree; I've tried them all. Maybe Cobra will take the ZLE and try to improve on it, but in my book it is the most underated golf driver on the market and only didn't sell more because of the light, stock shaft. The head has some spin to it (not a ton), so just pair it with a lower spinning, lower launching shaft and it is the bomb. Ian knows that...

Based on the info around the shafts, does that mean the new Cobra Hybrids are 0.335" Tip? Thanks for all the information on the gear.
