My deductions:

- Tiger can putt again under the lights against an NFL'r ..

- Tiger is huge, jacked in fact. He could be a middle LB in the NFL !!! I mean he was almost a green beret as we all know

- his fist pump is ready for ANGC

- he and Steiny continue to be non-committal for Augusta. The tension is killing me !! NOT.

- they are struggling hard to keep TW in any amount of limelight possible (sorry TM and Bridgestone)

I just looked up the clips on google. Can't tell anything from the interview. No details on practice/PT regimen. However, the back didn't seem too locked up when he jumped twice to move the balls in front of the cup from interfering.

you know Strahan doesnt play any more right, and has lost most of his size.

don't think Tiger is huge. I think weight/conditioning wise it might be a good idea for him to get back to where he was in 2000 simply because he played his best golf then. Try to recreate that game every way possible and weight and conditioning is an easy way so why not.

Mike Tirico on the API yesterday said he spoke with Tiger and isn't ruling out Augusta yet. Something about "trying to get back to golf activities" He was on spring break with his kids. If he's out promoting his book and on spring break with the kids, that says all we need to know. His lack of golf in the last 3 months and apparent lack of practice says The Masters isn't happening.

Even Tiger can't fall out of bed and be competitive at Augusta. The amount of practice he would normally put in isn't remotely possible and he's hasn't played a competitive round of golf in over a month, much less strung three together. It's NOT happening!

If Tiger does go NFL, he will need someone to tie his shoes cuz his back won't allow him to bend over.

I have known Tiger since High School having played against and paired with him on the AJGA tour multiple times.( Now I seriously doubt he would remember my name if I bumped into him or would recognize me). I honestly feel horrible for him. There is nothing worse than the situation he as a player and man is in. Your head and heart still have the fire to compete but your body won't let you. He looks broken and tired. My point is that having been around him for so long I never in my life thought we would have seen this man in this position. I genuinely hope he finds peace. Wherever that may be. On the course or off the course with his kids after hanging it up. I think the incident with Elin played a bigger role in what we are seeing today than what we thought. I think he is a broken man who is looking for his place in this world. I think he is lonely and sad. Godspeed Tiger. I hope you can come out of this funk you are in and lead a vibrant life with your kids...and yourself.

After having every move he makes scrutinized for the past 20 years, being "lonely" could be a good idea.

Not much call for a 5' 11" 200 lb middle linebacker in the NFL right now, he looked average size to me.

Yup, both freaks of nature that could literally play almost anywhere on the field. Both could bulk up if they wanted and be all pro DE's. Well TO's time has passed but you get the point.

I thought he looked old and tired, then I looked in the mirror and I look old and tired.

Do you see the irony of your last sentence in conjunction with the thread you started?

I would sooner believe that Fred Couples will win the Masters this year than Tiger teeing it up at Augusta in 2017. He hasn't played a competitive round in over a month and that was a disaster. His back could never handle the terrain for two days, much less 4 and the one thing we do know about Tiger, he would rather not play and hide behind the mystery of 'whether he will or he won't" than remove all doubt that he just can't anymore.

For someone who supposedly hates all the fame and attention, he is certainly desperately grasping to keep what attention he can, because he is game certainly can't keep it. The Bridgestone commercials are just humorous at this point.
