Yeah, during round interviews are not good. Can totally disrupt a round of golf. They should only be done during practice rounds or pro-ams.

Way back when, Golf Channel actually had heart rate monitors on players on the Canadian tour. No idea why they got away from that.

HR Monitors is a great idea. I'd be putting cameras on the caddies as well - a camera on the hat could be fairly unobtrusive, and give you a real inside the ropes insight.

I agree that mid round interviews are best left for pro-ams and senior tours

Having somebody ask me some questions in the middle of my round would be annoying. I can't say I blame any player that decides they don't want to participate.

Terrible idea. These guys are on that course to ‘work’ for their money. Millions of dollars are on the line here. Sending an interviewer on the course is asking for trouble. There are a ton of external factors that can break their focus already.

I’m more interested in the thought proces between player and caddie. No need to hear how a player feels after hole 5.
