So heres my thing about your situation. Why should any of us let a clubs sound make our decision on how good a club is or not? If you hit it great you hit it great you know? I cant lie.. i think ive also been a victim of "this club is too wierd sounding or too game improvmenty" granted we all have prefrences and that i get but when a club does well and we are still like nahhh lol i have a callaway steelhead xr 3 wood that is sooo tingy and loud but the club looks great and performs great. Does everything i ask of it unless i hit wrong. Soo loud soo tingy though. Its veryyy dificult to find those clubs that just check off every single box... looks, sound and performance to our personal swings and almost like you always have to sacrifice one of them. When you do fine the rare ones make sure you keep them for life though lol. I have to say i think the journey of trying and finding new great clubs is very fun though.

Pings tend to sound... Pingy.. haha

I've always been a Titleist wood guy. Much prefer the sound of my 410 LST driver over the TS3 I was gaming. I don't mind the sound of the FW but it certainly is an aggressive noise not "muted". Pings are extremely forgiving and I can certainly tell I'm hitting these straighter.

Hmm, well only one thing, but that is because I bent and changed all the lofts of my irons once I got the lengths where I wanted. I left some weird distance gappings, so I bent some irons 2-3 degrees to get where I wanted, so I changed up my wedges. I let one wedge go, as I remade the bottom of my bag.

I have my SIM driver now, cut down with a UST Chrome Elements shaft and a bit of lead tape on it and I absolutely bombed it all day today. It's not going anywhere.

Adams DHy that I hit 3 shots with. Killed all 3 but just didn't like the lookTaylormade R9 TPs (loved them but I could've dealt with the transition from the 6 to the 5 if it had a 3iron). Sold after a round and picked up some RocketBladez Tour Tour IssueBridgestone Tour B XD-F. Great looks, sexy, long, pretty easy to hit. Hated the sound. Very "tingy"Mizuno Mp-4. Was suppose to be standard length but ended up being .5" long. I could've cut down and regripped but I wasn't sure what else may have been off so sold without even hitting.Nike VR Pro Hybrid. NoS but headweight was just too light to get it short enough, even with a 100g shaft. Hit 5 shots with it.Scotty 5MB. Felt horrible and very "tinny". Never saw the course.

I went from a Nike vr tour head into a g400 driver. Very great deal of forgiveness and distance. I share the same results with my transition! ? now just gotta keep my eyes on the game and not on nonsense clubs that look shiny

It’s already hot melted and cranked down to 8.7. Also have a Smoke Yellow 70g 6.5 on it playing at 44.5. It’s a sledgehammer but the ball literally backs up on me compared to my M4/ Ventus combo. I was upset.

Just got Mavrik Pro 3 hybrid in today.

Soooooooo clicky.... Feels awful imo. My ER2 in black with stability shaft and gravity grip is a cheatstick comparedto that putter and brand.Me as well. Always comes back.

for me I tend to stick to blade/mid mallet kinda configuration. I fear that for mallets I might not fit into them as much as they look appealing.

I've recently changed my putter stroke over the winter, before face balanced mallets were appealing to me because they worked, but now not so much, I'm sure slant neck mallets will work just fine for me.

Lets just say I’ve flipped too much...3 Drivers, 4 putters, one 3wood, 2 carry bags and 2 sets of irons. Just bored and when we were able to get out, just liked my old stuff. It was fun trying different current product, but other than a new Nemesis shaft in the driver and carry bag all is the same from last season. Need to update my signature. LOL

had the same issue finding a new 3-wood. Purchased a Titleist TS2 with Project X even flow 6.5. I have never hit a fairway wood as poorly as I did this. Worm burners, pop ups, dead hooks, balls that would start straight and curve 30 yards right, etc. Never had any issues with other 3 woods like a callaway, taylormade with diamana shafts, etc. Just put the club on ebay with a dumping price. back to my old trusty 3 wood shaft. now just need to find a head

I feel that, lol but perhaps it’s that reflection of quality of strike. When I hit it off the deck the sound just reminded me of a “toe shot off the driver” although the distance and playability was there. Here’s the thing, my gamer will play the same except the sound is solid crack noise, so it just feels more in tune for me. Lol but I know what you’re saying tho. The trials of a golfer
