Hey guys, thought you may be interested in the new Vault page on Taylormade's site. The Vault is going to offer exclusive one off's, limited run, and prototype products that the tour department is making available. First available is going to be the ATV prototype wedge which goes on sale today and there are a few other future releases listed you can check out as well.

Hmmmm. Tour van products for sale from website. I like it albeit way overpriced. Those onset irons look really cool. I guess they'l stop giving the left over Tour Van items to GH and Nib etc.

Very cool. I think Cobra has something like this as well. Interesting to see what they come out with on this site, and hopefully they all won't cost an arm and a leg. Considering this is going to be 1-3 generation old equipment, I would think a normal retail price would be sufficient.

prices don't seem terrible for TI gear
the ATV without that stupid flange off the back, actually isnt a bad looking wedge
provide in RAW tho ... RAW for the win!

When you can hit up ebay and get the same thing for half the price from a well established guy like the Broken Niblick, then yes, those prices are extremely high. That same black V2 R1 head can be had for around 200 bux, from the auctions I have seen completed.

^This. Its a nice idea, but damn expensive for something you can get off eBay earlier and cheaper. That $1200 set of MC TP Irons can be bought for $700ish or less on the bay from a reputable seller. I don't see this lasting long....

Exactly. The price is only ridiculous if they don't sell what they have at the price they are asking. It looks like they sold out the previous offering so their price seems to be justified regardless of what price it can be bought elsewhere.

The Jason Day Proto putters selling out is understandable since he recently won the Match Play. Will be interesting to see how well the rest of the stuff moves, and what gets offered in the coming weeks.

The MC irons look good but that is a hefty price tag. I know some will buy it but I am not sure if any can use that S400. I would consider in the 700 range since it is last years.

I gotta say, this is REALLY cool. The prices do seem a little high, but this is extremely limited stuff, and lots of us on here (myself included) have always wanted TMAG to sell more of their tour edition stuff. Anyway, I REALLY hope they update this regularly, seems like a really cool fun idea.

i think its a really cool idea, especially for TM since they seem to have a lot more tour only goodies. I agree that you can find them on ebay for cheaper but its still a nice option to have regardless

Cool idea. I think it'll be pretty successful. There's plenty of guys out there with the cash to afford this stuff. Even if TM only sells a dozen sets of those irons it will still be a huge win for them since that older generation stuff is probably just collecting dust anyway.

I'm not sure that it's fair comparing their prices to eBay. This is buying directly from TM, so I'd assume their customer service and warranties (at least some form of it) are behind the products, which is pretty rare for Tour issue stuff since are all essentially bought and sold by nontraditional outlets. You now also know the source of the equipment, and don't have to worry whether it is fake, fell off the truck or walked out of the warehouse. Whether it is retail or Tour, buying it direct always costs more but it usually comes with some additional peace of mind.

Some of the stuff on the bay is getting so you don't know the real thing from the fakes, I know some of you like Niblick and others but the bidding always seem to get to the same price point even if they have 10 of the same item, so it always seam's a little funny to me.
