Bought a Scotty Cameron Coronado without head cover for $75 off Craigslist today. Condition is good but not great. He also happened to have some Pings he was trying to get rid of. Bought two bronze Anser 3 with sound slot, a Pal 6 BeCu (with a bunch of lead tape I'll have to scrape off) and an Anser 3 BeCu. Each of the Pings was $10. Not a bad haul for $115. Thanks, Craigslist!

I can't believe how solid this feels and how straight the ball goes!

It is deadly from 5 feet and in.

I had one of these that i played for a while. I liked it a lot. Sweet putter. I pulled the white bumpers and had them painted black to complete the black out look. I cant believe how much better it looked like that.

Oh, the joys and perils of ordering online. So last week I saw a LH Scotty show up on Global Golf, listed as an "Oil Can Newport", but with a stock photo of a Newport 2. I much prefer the Newport, but price was cheap enough, and no risk really, so I pulled the trigger.

 

This was actually fun waiting for the box to arrive and open it up, not knowing what the heck would be in there. Turned out both the description and photo were incorrect, as it was actually a Classics Newport in gun blue, but she's a beaut and I am pleased.

Yep. I meant to say that you picked up a mighty fine Newport as well. Especially as a lefty, these don't just pop up every day.

 

Good thing about picking one of these up on 3balls or Global Golf, is that they don't gouge. Priced very fairly (about half the going rate on ebay), and being that this was simply a "want" and not a "need", I was able to wait for one to pop up.

 

Enjoy yours. I'll probably cut mine from 35" to 34", put a new grip on, and see what she can do.

I rolled a few of those in the store. Great price, and a slightly different take on things. I think the bright face contrast might be a make/break for several people. They didn't feel bad by any means, but I'm at a loss for words to describe that feel in more detail. Given that statement, I think I'd say the feel was forgettable. However, give them a roll. They are unique without being over the top, and I could see that appealing to allot of people.
