I have been buying so much stuff recently that I didn't want to be posting every day. I found the japanese equivalent of Ebay and i'm addicted.

 

I also bought a bunch of tools at the hardware store and some equipment on Amazon:

 

Golf Mechanix shaft puller

files, saws, steel cutters, tape, flame torch lighter fluid, double sided tape, glue,  etc etc etc...

 

Attas 6 rockstar 7x driver shaft for my 11* mini bomber:

Brand spankin' Toulon Austin:

 

Fancy weight:

 

a '3 and a half wood' Attas 6 Rockstar shaft for my 13.5 mini slicer:

 

Set of Fujukira Travil 115 x PW shafts, which I tipped a half inch and converted to One Length and used the spare one in the Austin as a putter shaft:

 

Multiple grips (wanted to try out Cadero) :

 

Cheap BGT stability shaft ~70 USD

 

2 pretty sweet lookin ball marker sourvenirs:

 

Set of Edel heads from 5-PW, converted to one length:

 

Multiple wedges for these awesome heads: 48*,50*,56*, 58*,60* , bending them to desired lofts.

 

Now i'm ready to go play this week - finally !

I may find that I want to be a beast and end up tucking tail on my way out.... LOL

I am concerned with my swing weight calculations. Part of this project is a ~+1/2" add to the shaft. I may need to have the head weight taken back to the standard weight.

But alas.... we'll see how it goes.

I did, actually. I bought the #2 shaft to start with. If I like it, then I'll buy a 3-Iron shaft and swap it out to see how I like it.

I am testing a length increase (+1/2") and I figured why not start at the Top of the DG Line? 😄

How, or are, the lofts adjusted on the irons??

Going back in time and switching from my Mizuno JPX 919 Hot Metal Pros to a set of MP-53s. Thinking I may combo the top end but wanted to try some softer faced more traditional lofted clubs after having some distance issues with my current set. KBS Tour Stiff shafts and GP MCC4 grips on them.

 

Would love to hit them but we're about to get dumped on with snow

haha - more like dummy of the month award.

 

My build went well, they survived a round a some time at the SIM. all irons within 0.1 of each other for swingweight and ( ~D1 ), grips all secured and putter rolling well.

Driver shaft needs a bit of getting used to, but still pretty decent results.

 

What to buy next...hmmmm

Wilson staff Dynapower 3w.  Also got the hybrid today  so 3w and 19° and they look good , need to start getting accustomed to them now by playing,  would be interested in how the driver is but Wilson has made it an impossibility now for me to get

I posted this in my other thread, but I figured I'd post the update. The 3i and X7 have become one. 😄 The inspector approves.

Next comes the 7-Iron and 6-Iron. The 3i being soft stepped and the 6-7 being standard. 😄 

 

In the interest of this being a "purchase pictures" thread, I also posted a photo of the nifty clips that just arrived today that I used to hold the assembly after epoxy. 😄
