Nike VRX3X Raw Tour Wedges from Mike Taylor at the Oven... Some gamers here

I thought some would like to see these wedges that Mike Taylor made these for us. They are this years Nike Vr X3X wedges with a few mods. The DS wide 50* has a tour only raw finish and a 50* loft. Love the large 50* stamp. I specifically asked for a degree that they didnt offer to hope for this.... yum.

 

The toe sweep is sick. 56* and also raw. Playing the toe sweep has been very rewarding. Unbelievable through the rough and sand. You will have to try it to understand the "lack" of resistance the toe sweep has going through the thicker rough. The missing material in the heel of the sole makes for a lot less resistance as it is cutting though the grass. I had to slow my swing down significantly because of it. The first couple of rounds I was chipping around the green and was constantly long.

 

Great design on the toe sweep.

 

The wide body instills confidence and the look is just priceless at address. Great looking overall shape on these wedges.

There is nothing I'd love more to have in my bag than a tour issue set of Nike wedges made for me. I absolutely love my current nike wedges that are all old tour issue models. They kick the snot out of any other wedge I have played.

PS: Congrats to NIKE on another inferior equipment (wink wink) win today @ WGC event. Nike just keeps getting better and better! And those irons that are being released tomorrow I wish I had the funds as I'd be trying like hell to get 1 of 40!

No. If people want to stamp they can learn how to do so. Is infinitely cheaper. You learn something. And it takes about 0 effort and skill on any chrome wedge, let alone a raw wedge.

All Nike has to do is release limited edition "raw" wedges. But they won't because it won't look pretty in all of those failing big box stores. I do like how Nike is introducing the "Proto MM" irons but Nike is so far behind on fitting options to the public it's sad.

The finish and feel are the same. The dual wide sole is totally different and I like it so far. Not a lot of bounce but a lot of width to compensate. The tear drop shape of the 50 is just amazing. The feel is heavy and solid.

The toe sweep is a new one for me. Goes through the rough odly well. I wonder how this thing works in some thick cabbage like bermuda. I like the toe sweep so far. Only have a short time with it in play.

Those look great easyyy! I love my TS 58*, the only problem is MT didn't make it for me and it's not raw. Still loving my 52* raw from the Oven.
Easyyy you think we could go back? Do you have any hints for us on the RM006 putter? One more question for you, do think we could get another Q and A with Nike again?

Nothing on the RM006 putter. I thought it would be a fact if he won something this year with it. I have not heard anything definitive. They have some big announcements this month though. The [url="http://www.golfwrx.com/234261/spotted-nike-mm-proto-irons/"]MMPROTO[/url] blade launch is encouraging. That is similar to the 001 putter release. I could see that model for the 006. I hope if they do it they have them hand worked by David Franklin. He did such a good job with those.
