J13's WITB: Update- FUJIKURA AXIOM

I know I haven't lived until I've had a real cheesesteak from Pat's, but must say that the Kahuna from Jersey Mike's is the best substitute for the geographically challenged that I've found so far.

 

Lots of good cheese steaks around the area for sure. Pats is just the best for me and holds a lot of history. Plus i hit Termini's Italian bakery around the corner and load up on Italian cookies.

And the best cannoli's without a doubt!

 

You're damn right they are. I grabbed a dozen and only 6 made it home between me and my brother. Not to mention the Pecan Diamonds.

New / old 3 wood back in the bag :D So good i'm not sure why i ever took it out. It's built up with an Agera RF proto 82g right now and so far so good. The deeper face looks so good behind the ball.

 

 

And tonight I will post my new DRIVER :D It's custom, one of a kind, and includes elements never before seen in a driver. It's a game changer for sure :superman:

Yes, 90% of all shots with my 3 wood are from the tee but i have no problems hitting the 14.5 off the deck.

So....the driver

 

Okay I got a new driver but it's not what i was expecting :D Long story short I am from the Philadelphia area so i'm a huge Eagles fan and a close friend of mine whom you may or may not know, Robopti aka Robo is a HUGE Dallas Cowgirls fan. So for the big game last week we decided to make a wager, whoever loses owes the winner a custom built driver. Now i was prepared to create a one of a kind masterpiece but i was clearly no match for what i was about to receive. Unfortunately for Robo the Cowboys didn't put in as much effort as he did and they got SMOKED 37-9. Yes 37-9 and that was without a kicker, not kidding.

 

Fast forward to Sunday night after the game and Robo went dark, I mean covert, seal team 6 dark. He stayed that way for a few days and to be honest i'm not sure if it was because of my barrage of text messages and voicemails or he was just sad because Dallas really sucks this year. Either way there was ZERO, and i mean ZERO, humility/humbleness demonstrated by me in this victory.

 

So lets get to it. From the start I knew I was in for it. He rigged the box so when i opened it an explosion of small blue stars flew everywhere in my kitchen which was a blast cleaning up. Eagles won the game but Robo won the bet . The driver was roasted, carbon removed, flex shot (as seen on tv) added, and the cherry on top was a Tony Romo added to the newly formed cavity. Oh and a sanded down agera proto to cowboys silver and blue lol. Its a masterpiece.

 

The best, and I mean THE BEST, part about all of this is once he sent it to me he asked what loft the head was and i told him 8* and his response was "$#%## i messed up that was one of 3 heads that exist on the planet for a tour issue L4V at that loft, #$#% damn #$#$# son of a @#$#...... and HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH I couldn't stop laughing on the phone. I mean the Eagles just keep winning .

 

 

Also the rule was you had to take the driver on the course and use it for 9 holes so I honored that and included a video of it's maiden tee shot. Lets just say little Tony went full superman. :superman2:

Oh Wobgon always trying to stir the pot. I can say Rob is a good friend of mine and i've played multiple rounds with him and he is a low single digit hcp. Half the times I've played with him he's been even par for the day so take that for what its worth. He also hammers the ball being a former Long Drive guy. So with that said lets settle down and not throw insults as this was a fun bet that i thought i'd share with wrx as golf is sometimes too serious.

Oh I know the feeling! I'd eat three myself on the way home and I only live 15 minutes from the WW Bridge on the Jersey side!!

Oh I know the feeling! I'd eat three myself on the way home and I only live 15 minutes from the WW Bridge on the Jersey side!!

 

haha if i lived that close i would be 350lbs. I live in the Baltimore area now so it provides a big enough buffer zone where i don't lose control.
