The coool is an underrated shaft imo. I have one and it feels and performs great for me.

Good thing the new Ping drivers perform, they are UGLY.. my goodness. Agree on the 8.5 going high, I also tested it with the Tensei W 60tx. Hate the Tensei shafts, haven't hit the Orange but a good buddy swears by it.

 

Curious what you don't like about the Tensei shafts! Your always very detailed and feel oriented with your opinions so I'm interested. I game the diamana s+ 70tx and love it, tried a tensei pro orange 60tx untipped and hated it. Thought about going to an atmos blue or tensei pro blue but nothing in wisconsin has these shafts.

J - is that the Champ 3 with a 3” nozzle? Having a difficult time finding someone locally so thinking about just buying the stuff to do it myself and start off by practicing on some old drivers I have laying around.

I was told the LST is set up 1* open at standard. Never actually had it measured and that tolerances are one of best.

 

I don’t really care for the Tensei line that much either. Didn’t care for the v2 Orange or the white. But I think they would be a good fairway shaft

What didn't you care about the tensei line up? I hated my V3 orange but have a pro blue 70tx on the way

For my own personal reasons I have chosen - to this point - to remain the silent about a horrible secret that a few us are aware of. Those of us that know him know that J13 wants to be an in guy. He wants to be one of the guys who rides in the cool car and be invited to all the best parties.

So building it up today, last night I got stuck with the kiddos which meant i had ZERO time for anything other then making dinner, giving baths, and chasing little people.

 

Quick pic of the new 3 wood, it's drying as we speak then i'm going to hotmelt it, more pics to come :D

not going down that hole again which is why i got the 15*. I'll know more after tomorrow but she's all done for now. To start I took out the 2g stock weight and replaced it with a 6g then added 2g of melt to the center/sole. Based on what i see i will adjust accordingly. Have to say with the glued hosel it looks filthy and damn near perfect.

 

I'll get good pics tomorrow on course but for now here's a few while it was under construction.

Played today and really liked what i saw. I practice/played today which is basically me hitting a bunch of shots on course from the deck and tee. Wanted to really put it through it's paces today which i got to do as the course was pretty empty. I want to get another round or two in before i give a more in depth review but so far it's producing exactly what i thought and hoped it would.

Rogue SZ looks better, seems to spin a smidge more, higher trajectory off the deck but not off the tee (huge bonus here), and is more forgiving. Also with the glued hosel and reshaped crown it just looks perfect behind the ball whether it's on a peg or the ground. Not many fairway woods i can say that about.

I am going to have to have something to tinker with here before too long, just because. I was also considering the 15* this time as opposed to the 3+. I can get a weekend demo for free, just have to wait a couple weeks.
