Hey guys, wanted to get your opinions on the which Engage Wedge grind to get.

 

I just got back in to golf and being the sneakerhead/Nike lover I am I went full Nike bag.

 

Wanting to add a 56 and 60 degree wedges and was looking at the Engage Wedges. Have it narrowed to the square sole or toe sweep and wanted to get some more opinions. Everyone seems to love the Toe Sweep and versatility but I'm wondering if it's the best for someone just jumping in with a high handicap or if I should grab the square sole instead? Any opinions appreciated. Thanks!

Went ahead and grabbed a 56 and 60 Toe Sweep at a good price. Took them to the range yesterday and fell in love with them. Hit them really well. I'm terrible out of the sand and I actually hit these pretty well out of it. Has me thinking about replacing my Vapor Fly A Wedge with a 50 degree Engage. Anyone see any potential issues with that?

 

Also, couple things I'm looking for if anyone knows where I can find them outside of eBay and Facebook Marketplace.

Had a VRS Forged 3 iron in the bag the last few years, and hated the look at address. Found a brand new VR Forged Pro Combo 3 iron to replace it for $30. Much better look, and better trajectory.

Had the Nike Vapor Fly irons for a bit this year. Loved them but I lost a club distance with them. I could have changed the shafts but was nervous about the distance. Traded them in earlier this year to get my current fitted irons. They were gone before the next day at the store. High demand on the low it seems.

 

I find myself collecting their method putters though. Got a good condition 001 at a steal ( $43 ) and the Midnight 006 at a very good price off Ebay.

Since we’re bumping I just got this to put in my bag along with my Vapor Pro Combos. Can’t wait to pretend like I’m Brooks Koepka.

 

Not going graphite shaft but I did order the black DG S300 105. Lighter than the normal S300 while feeling the same. And a little heavier than a graphite shaft. This is gonna be a fun club.

Just picked up the VR Pro Combo. Hit the 8 blade a bunch today. Wish the whole set was the same.. Nice feel. Great flight. Good clubs.

The whole set is indeed the same - you just need the VR Pro blades, instead of the combo!

Yep! Haha. Hard to find at a good price. Mine were dirt cheap and minty. In fairness, the 4 iron pocket cavity is an absolute rocket launcher and still feels nice.

I have a Vapor Fly Pro 4i I use as a 3i w/ the px lz tour graphite and it's my favorite club. It's so fun to hit

Getting my preferred Nippon Modus 105s set up in my Vapors next week - pretty stoked! I freakin' love these irons.

 

That said, those VR Pros are gorgeous.

I believe they are. Those things feel like butter. I loved those. My only issue was the PW looked weird.

The only Nike clubs I have left are from the Oven and those are not going anywhere.

 

2nd Swing has just about every Nike set for really good price.
