If you're not following Sandra Gal's Facebook page, I would urge to do so. She just posted a from behind view pic of her in a bikini that leaves very little to the imagination. Just checked and it is also on her Instagram.
It wasn't even a good pic.

Yes, that was quite the putting clinic by Ms. Kerr. I was not expecting her to have a great Sunday, but there you go. 'Nice win.

Ms. M. Lee, more or less gave it away on 17. Otherwise, we're into extra holes.

Chalk up another top 10 for Ms. Park.

Game, set, match. Congrats to Cristie Kerr.
Yep, was pulling for her, nice for the (approaching...) old guard to get a win. Probably not a popular opinion but who cares, I'm was glad to see CK pull it off. Also nice to see a change on top of the leaderboard, which yes means what you think it means. No racism here, just nice to see a change. I'm a fan of many International women golfers so don't turn this into something it isn't... :)

Now if we can just get Cheese into the winner's circle :man_in_love:

Oh ya I forgot to mention....my biggest surprise from the 3rd round was that Hyo Joo Kim only shot 72.
It's tough to watch HJK playing partner....Brittany Lang continue to struggle with slow play, indecisiveness and poor putting.
Luke her caddie/brother is trying to get sis to simplify things...... but she can't.

Lang has a powerful natural swing but it's offset with her mental game.
Brittany is a really nice young lady.
Lang missed her tee shot left at 18 and went into some heavy rough. I was further down by the left side of the fairway and the rough must've grabbed the hosel on her second shot because she hit a low hook that screamed right by my feet. Her bro/caddie walked ahead to look at where the ball ended up and before she even got there he told her that she needed a ruling. So by the time she got to her ball, an official was already there to make a quick ruling.

I haven't read the entire thread, but do we have a WITB for Kerr? I think I saw Ping driver and fairways, but I don't think she's a Ping staffer?

That is why I always thought that expression, "Drive for show and putt for dough," was so much BS. :-)

I was wondering the same thing. It's also refreshing to see a golfer who doesn't look like a walking billboard...or NASCAR driver. :-)

Congrats to Cristie. She played her tail off and deserved it. Aside from talking to her ball, I'm hearing that motherhood has mellowed her out some. And obviously the swing and coaching changes has had an effect.

A lady next to me yelled "Go Stacy, go!" Stacy looked over, but did not smile or acknowledge.

I'm surprised Stacy didn't SNaP at the lady.

She is intense when she's in the ropes. When she's in that mode, who knows what's going to happen!

She hasn't been on Ping's staff for a few years although I don't remember her playing anything but Ping. The last I remember it was S55 irons but please don't count on that being currently accurate.

My take (better late than never) on the Kia. I am just not a fan of CK so I couldn't get behind her. Too bad for Mirim's blow up on 17, I liked her chances. Lydia is just Wow. I think I read 28 consecutive rounds under par, amazing. I am sure she has plenty of other stats that are quite unbelievable for a 17 year old. Alison Lee, I mentioned last week that I saw her for the first time and thought she was pretty impressive and one to watch this year. In fact, I think she will be in the running for Rookie of the Year. As someone put it earlier, she is also easy on the eyes. I believe we will see a new sponsor visor on her real soon! She just needs to learn to play on Sunday. Both this week and last she went flat on Sunday, I am confident she will figure that out. Stacy seems to be struggling at times with parts of her game. On one hole I saw her totally SnAP one off and have to go back and replay the shot in which she stuck it pretty close. It seemed like there was NO reason for her to hit such a bad shot, especially for such a top-ranked player. Nice job for HJ Kim to keep playing well, although not sure what happened to her third round. However, I think we will see a lot of her this year and in years to come. Yokomine: I remember seeing her for the first time at the International Crown and wondering how someone could play at the highest level with that swing. Well, the second time I saw her she seemed like she wasn't going around as far but it turns out I was seeing something other than the driver as she goes almost 360 degrees from the top of her back swing around to impact. I also thinks she has a terrible putting stroke, it just doesn't look like that of a professional. Although as strange as it all is to me she gets the job done and had a pretty solid 4 days. Belen: I was glad to see her make the cut but she is still all over the map and bringing up the rear of the pack. She had 10 bogeys and 2 doubles to finish at +5. I feel bad for her because I know she has talent but she is just so inconsistent and needs work in many aspect of her game. I think it could be a while for her to work it out and I hope she doesn't get too discouraged. Maybe I should have a talk with her! Good tourney overall and I am very much looking forward to this week's major. I hope we can get a little more day to day coverage from our boy Brave Dave!!!!
